Ipswich and Plymouth are both nailed on to go back down with possibly Huddersfield if Warnock leaves. If he stays then it's Leeds who'll join them.
I'll be doing Luton , Plymouth & Northampton treble with a free Sky bet when odds come out . Already done M'boro ( top 6 ) 11/8 B'pool ( top 6 ) 2/1 N.County ( top 7 ) 4/6 Win Treble To be promoted Leicester 13/8 Stockport 11/8 Win Double .
Ipswich won't go down, I feel like they're a club on the up. Might even surprise a few people a bit like Sunderland have done. Cardiff will struggle again. Rotherham no doubt will be down there, and I think Birmingham could be in trouble if they don't sort themselves out.
Now now Trev, Tis the dawn of a new era down in B9. I can see Thomas Shelby doing some fine business round the back of the Garrison tavern this summer. And before I get full on vitriol from the Ipswich fans that are hopefully making themselves comfortable in this forum, I am of course joking when I say they’re nailed on to go down. Just very very strong favourites is what I mean..
Vitriol?! Perhaps a rustle of blankets and some audible tutting. Maybe the wine gums won’t make it down the row as far as your seat. More our style really
As our squad stands at the moment, we could be down there, all depends on if we can replace the outgoings with any sort of quality but I'm not hopeful considering our transfer budget appears to be about 26p
What would be the most Blues-iest thing that could happen?..we’re riding the tidal wave of optimism that new owners bring, they get the stadium fixed and back open again, then we get relegated!!! I can see it a mile off.
I assume I’ll be a regular in this thread 21st place by any means necessary and it’ll be a great season.
Really can't be sure about how we'll get on, head says we'll be ok but the way we missed out is bound to have some sort of knock-on effect. Early signs suggest we'll keep the team together, if we get Kevin Nisbet and a decent winger in that'll be a good start.
Afternoon...........whoops.........must update.............byeeeeee........until about Easter next year.
To be fair you dominated all of L1 excluding Ipswich and Wednesday, and even then you beat those two to the title. Keep the core of the squad intact and it all might be a bit more comfortable than you expect. I suppose Ennis going isn't great start to the window though?
Away games must be a bit of a chore for a Plymouth fan. It's a four hour drive to Birmingham on a good day (some might say it's never a good day if it involves ending up in Birmingham) so north of that you're talking leaving very early in the morning/week to get there for kick off.. Without looking (because I'm lazy) what's the nearest ground this year? I'm guessing Brizzle?
