To be fair, you'll be playing Accrington, Morecambe & Forest Green Rovers. (And Exeter City oi oi) Whilst Scunny will be playing teams like Notts County, Carlisle, Chesterfield, Wrexham & Southend etc etc
Forest green are a miles bigger club than Scunnie..... Quite sad how far some good old clubs have fallen, but that's how leagues work, unless you put something stupid back in place like the time when clubs could win a league and still not be allowed in the FL proper.
Crap we will never be able to offload our shite players on Scunnie again....even they are too good to play for them lol.
Don't particularly want Scunny down as we've never won at Glanford Park but they look nailed on for one of the two spots. Colchester of course would be great to join them but being purely selfish I want Barrow down as it was the one away game I was looking forward to last season but then of course nobody could go.
Get into 7th place and then get promoted through the playoffs and you'll be able to play at Barrow next season.
As great as getting 7th would be I can't see it happening, think we're in for more fun times in the 5th tier yet.
Saturday was the final nail in the coffin. 1-0 up at half-time vs Rochdale and we put in a disgraceful 2nd half performance, a common theme. Something like 19 points dropped from winning positions.
The team have got no belief they can hang on to the 3 points (or even a point). Think Scunny are pretty done.
Don't think the 2nd relegation spot is quite done, Carlisle could still have a chance if they get rid of Millen and get in a firefighter manager of their own. Obviously Oldham are still far from safe and their is teams from Harrogate downwards who haven't got enough points for safety yet either
