Good news, Boris has just said in parliament they've intelligence of Russian tampering in Sky Bet League Two and therefore "reluctantly nullify any threat of relegation from the league."
Why not? Our last few results we've lost twice to Harrogate (5-1 aggregate), 2-0 to Oldham, 0-1 to you boys, 1-2 v Crawley and drawn 1-1 at home with Orient (their only goal in TEN games now).... 10 teams are below us. Four of them have 3 games in hand, two have 2 games in hand and another two have 1 game in hand. Our upcoming fixtures are against 7th, 5th, 1st, 12th, 10th, 8th, 9th, 2nd and 3rd. I honestly cannot see us getting 1 point from any of them. Unless we see the new manager bounce (whenever we decide to appoint someone) we are in deep trouble.
That would require Carlisle - who've won 6 games all season to win both of their games in hand, even if they did they would still require another 2 wins and a draw to overtake you given your superior goal difference and that's without you picking up any more points along the way. You have some tough fixtures coming up but you're not going to lose another 9 on the bounce.
Boris has just mentioned Barrow in his public address actually, says as thanks for building world leading attack submarines that we can use on the Russians, he'll grant us immunity from relegation.
Since you said this Carlisle have won 3 on the bounce It's now 9 teams below us. Thankfully Scunthorpe are really really bad so I reckon there's about 9 teams in the mix for the last spot.
