Benteke has touched the ball now, his header went right into the keeper!

Heavy pitch looks like it's taken a toll on some of the kids, some looked knackered

Liverpool: Mignolet, Randall, Ilori, Enrique, Smith, Brannagan, Allen, Stewart, Ibe, Teixeira, Benteke.

A fairly decent lineup & certainly enough to beat a league two side at home. Massive game for Ibe tonight I feel, he's plateaued since Rodgers brought him back at the end of last season & could do with showing a bit more.

Benteke could do with having a good game aswell.

Ojo scores a delicious one fron a Ibe pass, just like to see Ibe pass more instead of glory hunting from 30/35 yards

Well that was a score line outta the Mersey,a dour game really, no clue who would have the last shot to win, a "Thrilla in Norilla"

How they can be so dismal v the manc's , then put 5 away, I don't know, even with Shaky Mig, and El Moreno, who gave away a pen, and stood there looking a dummy, as if it shouldn't have been awarded, we still came back to Gods little acre with 3 points

    Same again v Leicester fellas!

Stoke on Tuesday first mate! Fingers crossed in that one, we actually have the advantage regarding rest for once ( a small one mind). Big game. Would be great for Klopp to kick off his first season with a trophy.

IF we get through, i'm not sure who i'd rather player out of Everton/City. Everton, despite having a decent team always have a mental block when it comes to playing us. But having said that, I don't think my heart could take a derby final.

City are like Jekyll & Hyde, if you get them on an off day like we did at the Etihad, they're more than beatable. But if they're up for it, they simply have too much quality.

I didn't really forget this one Ollie, more apprehensive on the outcome, which 'pool side shows up tells the outcome I feel. The Potters do have a couple of blokes who know where the net is, I'm not concerned about the over rated Shawcross - now I suppose he'll have a decent outing:( - they do have a decent keeper, and tbh, Walters is always a threat, that's if Hughes plays him. We're going to this game, staying overnight in Hartshill.

We gotta hold strong at the back, no passing across the goal etc

I think we can make the Final though, give me the Toffees though, always nice to rub noses in it:)

I got pally with a bloke when we converted Shelton Iron from steam to electric, years ago, going back with him after the match to spend a few days . Don't take too long down the 6.

Anything else you need to know?, like me Nan's middle name?. Or how much did I sell my 1935 Austin 10 for.

What a load of bollocks. There's no way that sentence KK quoted makes sense in the way you describe. 'Overnight' is not another way of saying 'spend a few days'
