And when it comes back on Tractor Boys first post will end with ‘we don’t foresee any more downtime’ before the site then goes down again aproximately 2 weeks later.
I feel a bit sorry for the fans on there as its a good site for League One/Two and NFL teams IF its working..
It's a frustrating one though as there's no reason why this site couldn't be as good. I'm sure if a noticeable amount of lower league posters moved onto this site then eventually the vast majority would switch over, but they're all understandably reluctant to move to a less active site.
Yes - almost needs one or two to move and the rest will. I reckon TB isn't as bothered looking after the site because Ipswich aren't that good atm! Of course he might have more important issues to worry about now.
it just needs a few more to come over and it'll be as good here as it was over there. I've been trying to get threads started recently, but recent events seem to have put everything on hold.
Well, I said it were sleepy then you all woke up. If there’s anyone on here who still has an account over there, I reckon you we should pm maybe 10/15 people to try get them over here. It’s obviously a better platform, no downtime, no ads. That’s if it ever starts up again. I know it may sound daft, but I miss those freaks, I rarely posted really, I just chuckled along to the the ridiculousness of them. And I think we all need a bit of escape from the news at the mo, and there’s no footie to distract us, so let’s all be twats to each other and have a laugh
If it ever comes back on then Ill encourage the L2 posters to come over. No point in a forum thats never online.
People can be members of both forums, you know. I like the other place - apart from the now frequent site crashes. The more forums that are available to abuse any Oxford fans must be a good thing!
Well obviously but that's the problem. This section is deader than an away end occupied by Crawley Town fans and you can never post on the other as it goes down every weekend.
Welcome mucker. So much to catch up with.........I found Spotify...........I'm considering TIDAL....................should we sign Mullins?...............Will Paul go bust?
Paul Barry - owner of CUFC and travel business tycoon from Seattle - Yes, Travel Business...... Thank You for your custom on the L2 threads.
Indeed, the lack of football has come at a good time for the forum hasn't it? I should point out of course, that there is a whole world outside of the L2 section that you L2ers are welcome to get involved with
Thanks Alan. 1. Mullins - I think we should try to sign him permanently. I do like what he brings to the side and bear in mind he wasn't even playing regularly prior to coming here so common sense suggests he will up his game once he's playing 70 mins plus* rather than the 10 min cameos he was getting at Tranmere (*once the footy can restart of course). I'm a fan of his 'shoot on sight' policy; it implies he's a quick thinker. 2. I confess the thought of Paul Barry going bust hasn't even crossed my mind. If he was feeling the effects of this whole CV thing, then he wouldn't have promised Mark Bonner a better playing budget for next season. It's true the situation is getting worse by the day, but I think he had a good idea of the global crises that was to follow at the time of Bonner's appointment. 3. Tidal? Spotify? What on earth are you talking about Alan?
Cheers Mowgli, thanks for the welcome. I actually signed up to this forum a long time ago, I'm not exactly sure but IIRC it was at least a couple of years before I signed up to the other place. I had to sign up again though as I couldn't remember my username (though I think it was something like Cufcfan or cufcno1 or something along those lines anyway), and the email address I had at the time has changed as well. Now all I need to do is to keep saying over and over to myself that nothing's wrong with posting on two forums. For now
