Jimmy Ryan - half of the best central midfield pairing we’ve had at the club in the last 10 years - during Cooks last spell. He’s without a club though so fitness would be a worry. He’s also 33.

Would be a hell of a loss to us and can understand why he would be talking to you, he is hard working, has a decent footballing head on him and has improved a lot this year as we turned full time but at 28 I am not sure there aren't better options out there for you.
What does he do? I’m hoping it’s not yet another creative, number ten type. We have more of them than we know what to do with, but there’s definitely a vacancy in our midfield for someone who is energetic, covers ground and can put a tackle in.
He has been playing further forward this season but that is to accommodate others, I think his best position is in a holding two or right hand side of a traditional three man midfield. Will certainly cover the ground and happy to put his foot in but equally good enough on the ball to fit in with your 'natural style', I would just question if he has the physical side as not the biggest or quickest.
Sounds like a good signing for Notts if they can pull it off. Definitely looked like they were lacking a bit of bite in the middle of the park the other week.
Surprised Mulhern hasn't settled somewhere since winning the title three years ago. Maybe not a great goalscorer but definitely a scorer of great goals, the lad has talent
Found my way here. Watson has said we'll be signing a couple of players this week but have been waiting on things with their current clubs to be sorted out. I'd be surprised if at least one of them isn't Mulhern or Moke.
