He scored lots of goals from making late runs into the box for Hartlepool last season.

Doesn’t look like he’s coped too well in League Two as the goals dried up and he’s been playing less recently.

I’d have taken him on loan till the end of the season and I’m pretty sure Challinor would have done too but the rumour is you’ve offered him a two year deal and that doesn’t work for us with potential promotion.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but the transfer deadline extension has been scrapped and brought forward to Thursday because Wrexham have gone crying to the league by all accounts.

He’s decent if a little sporadic, when he’s on it he’s really good, just doesn’t happen often enough, bit of a fan favourite here and excelled with us in the National League, but can’t make his way into our team at the minute, I wouldn’t of offered him a new contract next season, so if a team is offering him a 2 year deal now he’d be mad not to take it.

I'd be happy with offering him two years if he's good enough for a promotion charge over the next couple of seasons as I can't see us going up this season.

Afraid not, he's too old to be *highly rated* more in the *seasoned pro, will do a job* category.

Think their lass lives in Hull so win win for the lad.

Grimsby about to announce their 50th signing of the season then.

Stocky will be turning in his grave.

Even though he's not dead, I don't think.

Rumour doing the rounds that we are signing Josh Kelly from Maidenhead. No idea whether it’s absolute nonsense or has some legs.

Really good player Kelly is, would think he’d cost a few quid though.

We are desperate for a striker with Tshimanga and Rowe out long term but I’m surprised at the rumour as it would suggest a permanent signing. I’d have thought we’d have opted for a loan from a league club until the end of the season.

Yeah, I'd be happy with Josh Kelly if we signed him from what I've seen. The other one who has caught my eye at Maidenhead is Sam Barratt, hoping he's on our radar for the summer.

Hurst being backed to the hilt. All or nothing, you could say. He'll still get them up through the playoffs.

I can confirm that he does indeed have legs, 2 of them at last count.

Just replacing a loan player who is now out for the season (for the second time in a month) with a signing for next season. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he was on our shopping list for summer. Makes perfect sense to bring him in now.
