    As Pvm said he is an all rounder, he scored a good few goals on loan at Rosenborg when they played him in the attacking role.

    We looked at signing Andrews.

    If we had some of our support would have been up in arms simply because he was coming from Motherwell.

    It's amazing the amount of money getting offered for last year's Monaco team, you would think they romped to the Champions League title last year.

    And it's all Premier League clubs paying the money, complete madness.

    Motherwell have agreed a fee for Ben Henneghan


    Croatian centre back Filip Benkovic being linked with us from Croatian journos. Might be nothing in it but what a signing that would be.

    Looking like we'll be signing a defender late on from the English market if at all.

    It's been a good window but could be better with the purchase of a centre back.

    We have had a good window but not getting a CB will really damper it for me...our current CBs all have a history of repatative injurys and we need one more.

    Rodgers rates Boyata and Simunovic is our best centre back, we' be ok going with that and I think Sviatchenko gets a raw deal. I think he's decent.

    It's a position we could really strengthen the overall team with though if we brought a bit of quality in to play next to Jozo.

    I'm not going to lie.

    I will be very disappointed if a quality centre back doesn't come in.

    I don't think there is any excuse for us not getting one in either.

    Looking like an EPL loan is our best chance now.

    We did have one deal done for a centre back but it fell through, you're then left chasing it.

    Coetzee was unfortunate, but at the same time, I don't think that signing was going to be one for the CL this season in any case.

    Even with Boyata and Erik fit I think it was clear that we needed to up the quality in that area to someone of similar quality to Jozo.

    I'd sign a centre back but Rodgers said Coetzee was ready to come in right away last week.

    Still hoping for a loan deal to go with the boy from PSG.
