Some big teams in it this year. Should be a strong competition if some of those take it seriously.

Qualifiers don't start until August though so a long way away from having any inkling who will be joining them. Hearts go in to the playoff round so only have to beat one opponent to get to the group stages. Likely to be a fairly strong team but would be nice to see a Scottish team outside of Glasgow represented in the groups.

Surprised no one was talking about Linfield and Shamrock!

Good night for Shamrock. It ensures they'll be playing group stage football this season, just have to wait and see if it's in the Europa League or Conference League.

BBC Scotland having an absolute mare with the Hearts game. 0-0 with 20 mins left (1-2 on agg) and the picture's gone off for 10 mins.

Edit: finally back and Zurich have scored.

That's that for Hearts then. Still have some European football but solely down to the Glasgow clubs really. Another bitterly disappointing qualifying campaign for the Scottish clubs.

    Silly dive cost them.

    Agony for Linfield.

Gave away a late equaliser then lose on penalties to RFS.

Shouldn't be too much for Arsenal or United to worry about at this stage. I think even if they get the hardest possible draw they'd be pretty comfortable.

Group A: Arsenal, PSV Eindhoven, Bodo/Glimt, FC Zurich
Group D: Braga, Malmo, Union Berlin, St Gilloise
Group E: Manchester United, Real Sociedad, Sheriff Tiraspol, Omonioa
Group G: Olympiakos, Qarabag, Freiburg, Nantes

Included the German's for @Dirk 's benefit. Can't imagine there'll be much interest on here in the other groups.

Some good games for Arsenal and United. Mixture of competitive but comfortable enough to progress, some good away trips too. United's fans should enjoy Spain and Cyprus!

Hopefully Ten rotates for 4 of those matches at least.

We should qualify, but we always struggle with Iberian teams, and Sheriff have a few scalps to their name, so not counting our chickens just yet

I also think Arsrnal's group is tough enough. If they don't take it seriously they won't go through.

thx @Jason. Tbh I didn't even know that the draw is already made. Union and Freiburg with good chances I think to advance. At least no PL clubs in their groups.
