    28th April - 20:05 Away Leg

    5th May 20:05 Home Leg

I've not seen anything of these but from what I've heard they're having a good season & will be slight favourites.

Vital we keep the injuries to a minimum in the meantime, especially to key players like Lovren, Allen, Coutinho & Origi.

We've proven we're good enough to win this by knocking out the favourites, it all depends on which Liverpool side turns up now, which is anybody's guess.

Waiting on Can's scan results but he could be a huge miss, a defining one.

But after last night how can you do anything but believe?!

Can could be a huge miss, nervous again, already.

Gutted if Can is out, need to give Lucas game time before this game if thats the case as with Henderson already out Lucas and Allen are our only two true central middies.

You have to laugh at the idiots that claim we've not had torrid time with injuries this season, its been ridiculous, always major players. Do we even have an outfield player that hasn't missed significant parts of this season? Clyne and Milner the only ones maybe?

I'm looking at everything in the rest of the competition as a bonus, we were dead & buried against superior opposition!

very tight defensively, If you get an away goal anything is possible and you will do well to get one there

Would be ideal, doubt Villarreal will be as open as Dortmund were though

Wait and see, I'm nervous but I'm not worried, think we have the best manager left in the competition- which is often the major factor.

Personally I think you can play loose and just go for it and have the nothing to lose mindset like last night

Don't people think that Basel's stadium is a little too small to be holding the final?

If we make it there that's something that i can't help but find a little disappointing.

There has been three finals in the last ten years where the attendance wouldn't have filled Basel's stadium!

Admittedly it's one of the smaller stadiums to have hosted a final (final in 05/06 was 35,000 capacity) but there isn't the same interest in the Europa League unfortunately.

Certainly a shame for any English club reaching the final as we generally travel well.

Yep, it is frustrating, our allocation would've been pathetic in a bigger stadium because of UEFA's greed but I'd have defo got a ticket through that, if we get through. It's the way the competition has been treated previously though.

Can's out for possibly 4-6 weeks, chance he could make it back before the end of the season.

    Shite. First choice midfield out.
