Just seeing the forecasts for this week, it just doesn't lift the mood up. Was sick of rain all last week, and looks like this week, it's more of the same. For the amount of rain that we have had to put up with the past few months, their will still be a hose pipe ban in the summer due to water shortages, ****off
So we have local 'child labour' booked for fence and shed painting this week which naturally can only happen if it's dry Also have a nice man booked to repair the wooden sash window to the lounge - also requires dry weather Bloody English weather
Drove up to Carlisle this morning, pissing down most of the way but bright and sunny when we got there. Went across to Workington from there, more sunshine, then drove home to meet rain again halfway.
Been raining ( nah pouring down ) non stop since 6ish this morning. Very, very windy as well so overall it is as the weather man might say on telly.....it is a f*cking shit day.
It pissed down in the night and the wind was really strong so i didn't get much sleep last night,the wind has eased a bit but it's still raining.
Was a nice warm dry day. Loads of washing out on the line for the first time in ages. Good riddance to the rain.
