Entire of last week was 40 degrees during day & night. The latter is unusual, since temperatures usually cool down a couple of degree at night, but this year it hasn't It didn't help that the AC is my bedroom broke down. Temperatures got a bit down by couple of degrees. I absolutely hate summers. Can't wait for it to get over.
According to reports, summer is supposed to arrive by Wednesday where we could be looking at 20 degrees. It's been about time. Last week the weather was lovely and mild, but we did have days where it was non stop rain.
Despite the forecast running up to this weekend, it’s been sunshine on all three days. It showed rain today so I bought everything for a roast dinner today for everyone and it’s been baking. We had said roast sitting in the garden

A stunning day in Wells i sat outside earlier drinking gin and tonic sitting on my sun lounger with my shirt off and my shades on listening to opera my idea of heaven.

I enjoyed my afternoon at The Wookey Hole club in The Mendips in Somerset but now it's become so close we are going to have a thunderstorm.
Was a bit of a cracking thunderstorm earlier. My part of Wales had yellow warning for that today, and we have a yellow warning for rain tomorrow...it's supposed to be close to summer....
Bit of thunder here around 7pm but nothing major. Looks like Wales, Manchester and Lancashire got the brunt of it. Summer over folks, that's our bit for the year.
Came down for lunch. It was hot & sunny. Within minutes it became dark & cloudy. Had a dusttorm, which ruined my vada pavs (my lunch). Now it's raining heavily. I have never seen anything like this before in my 35+ years in Mumbai. A proper duststorm that is. The below is not my video, but from the area near my office.
A cracking thunderstorm is starting where i live which i don't need as i'll be going out soon,every clap of thunder is getting louder and i just heard my cat run into my bedroom to hide under my duvet which she always does when there's thunder.
Been a bloody gorgeous day from the moment started going light right through to this evening. Was supposed to have rain mid afternoon but even the clouds stayed away. Beautiful end to the day coming up with a nice breeze to cool us down.
