We've (apparently) gone in for klopp, Benitez, bilic and moyes and theyvw all mugged us off! The big man is definately going which can only be good for both him and the fans but none of our main targets want to come. So who realistically can we get and who do we want?

You're linked with Bielsa and he would be an interesting one. He'd have you fighting for a Champions League place for half a season playing some terrific football before your players become tired and you finish mid-table.

I think that's a really good choice but would he come to us with our status in the league along with our still precarious finances?

Firstly We're a big step down for him, would he come, and would he be able to work with our chairman? I dont think it's realistic though some of our fans want him

    Calm down mate!

We have been linked and apparently approached him. And yeah some of our fans have convinced themselves that he would want to come to us

Even moving to a new stadium. Once he leaves them its not going to be to a mid table premier league side thats for sure.

for starters his own ego wouldn't allow it and hes probably never heard about West ham

Villas-Boas, Bielsa (whose interest in the job I have doubts about) or Mark Warburton.

If none of those, then stick with Allardyce. Though I doubt he'll accept an offer at that stage.

Vilas-boas would be my choice and the move to the bigger stadium/potential new investment could be enough to gain his interest.

If there is interest in bielsa I don't think it would work, him and sullivan would be a match made in hell! warburton would be deemed to high risk in such an important season.

The best scenario would be to give sam another 2 years, get us in the OS and we'll possibly have new owners by then with more spending power. We are suddenly a much more attractive proposition to some of these managers then. That ship has sailed, the fans that want him out will get their wish and sam would be mad to take another 2 years of the unwarranted shit he's taken for the last 4. Due to our impatience we are likely to be taking a big risk in one if the maid important seasons in the clubs history. And the contract situation has been so unprofessional! All the players hVe been offered their contracts but we are 2 games from the end of the season and the manager is still in limbo? There's no doubt that this is contributing to our end of season slump. Fckin joke situation

Warburton's approach is the future. I wouldn't be worried at all if he was signed on. Look at how far he's taken Brentford in a short time. I won't expect Europe or anything from him immediately, but I don't see why he won't be able to do so in the future.

I agree but i can't see our chairman appointing him, they generally look for 'safe' appointments/top flight experience

I've got some concerns whoever we bring in. Our team and squad is not as strong as many of our fans think it is. I don't see us smashing it next season and if we are not in the top ten we are going to have the same moaning and whinging. We are certainly not too good to go down either, the wrong man could be an absolute nightmare. Oh well we'll no doubt find out sooner rather than later

Some of our fans put too much value on us being well supported and moving to a shiney big new stadium! Fact is that pales in to insignificance when the managers we want are generally managing champions league teams and they are competing for trophies in their respective leagues. We're at best a mid to lower league team with an average transfer budget. Suddenly Steve mclaren seems far more likely. In 2 years time when we're in the stadium and if we get some more investment we are far more likely to get a better quality manager
