I once went to two years of home games without seeing Northern Ireland scoring a goal. I loved every minute of it. Knowing we were shit meant there was no pressure, so it was easy to enjoy losing to the likes of Armenia and Latvia.
Think the best odds I’ve seen is France win, Mbappe POTT, Lukaku TGS @ 80/1. Think France will win it but share their goals between a few players whilst Belgium have a fairly easy group and if they win that they get a 3rd place team.
Never said it was a problem for me, just that I don't understand it. I also said each to their own. You hope your own country fails, just because we have some knobhead fans? I just struggle empathising with you. It seems an odd rationale.

I predict disappointment early in the knockouts depending on who we draw. The first tough game we get will be when we lose I reckon.
Get through the group fairly comfortably with two wins and a draw then lose in the Last 16 to Portugal, Germany or France.

Heavily rotated squad from us and I gave up any hope of a good game when we had Danilo and Oliveira starting together in midfield As you say, Renato looked like our best player and he could have a big tournament. Against quality sides, Jota has to start over Felix for me. Ronaldo and Felix just don’t work together against good teams
No expectations at all. I do however hope we absolutely shit all over one of the top teams. Don’t really care where it goes from there (unless it’s the final) but it’d just be nice to see us not shit ourselves against decent opposition for a change after beating a few minnows.
