Off the Channel Islands on Sunday for a few nights, assuming the flight isn't cancelled due to bad winds from storm Dennis.

As Covid has pretty much been contained here I’ve booked a trip to Tasmania in February. A week (not enough) visiting Hobart, Launceston and Cradle Mountain, plus one night somewhere before we fly back.
We’ve just spent four nights in the mountain range that overlooks Melbourne. Lush forest, unbelievable wildlife and some top notch restaurants in the villages dotted around the summit..

We’ve been holiday hopping our bookings .. we have Costa Blanca, Spain in June which we changed last May which was booked for August with the kids, we’ve a Costa del Sol retreat booked for August, and Tenerife moved from February 2021 to November 2021 with my son and his girlfriend. Who knows but I’m keeping everything crossed.

It’s COVID safe right now which is more than I can say about the UK. I’m not sure when the Kiwis will let you lot back in but it won’t be any time soon..

Not going abroad this year, airport queues will be ridiculous plus you may leave here with no restrictions and end up somewhere with social distancing and masks still in place.
