Stoke are up there for me too. Started launching golf balls at us after a 93rd minute Klasnic equaliser years ago.
Every team who didn't score in GOS/scored when I put them as my NTS (I can somehow only remember Carlisle and Wolves)
I didn't say 90% of teams ran out to YNWA, I said 90% of fanbases sang it. Watch any old video of a big game from 70s, and there's a good chance that the losing team's fans will sing it in the last minute, to confirm their desire to support the club despite this defeat. Only the other day I was watching a re-run of the Big Match on ITV4 or some such channel, and Spurs fans sang it at the end of the game.
Other then Pxrtsmxuth of course Milton Keynes Dons - Start at the bottom and you might get some respect Tottenham Hotspur - Keep on singing OUR song Blackburn Rovers - Fans have seen a League title and League Cup in that generation but still only had a half filled Ewood Park in the Premier League Yeah I never get that Liverpool and Manchester United fans in London. It's like there's Arsenal and Chelsea around you
I get that with some of my pupils where they have never been and neither know where the ground is (and sometimes the city). But mostly it is Spurs, West Ham and Arsenal. Does anyone like the MK Dons? I used to really hate Stoke but now they're just a none entity.
We must still be getting under your skin though by the looks of it? I actually miss playing Mr Magoo’s bottle jobs. Always beaten before they got off the team bus. Happy Days
I think it would be different today, just remember why you have grass on your pitch you know, the green stuff below all those empty seats!
