Got today’s local rag for a change, apparently when things get back to normal were looking 5 new signings... 28 man squad. I’m guessing the season ticket sales are going well.

With a bit of optimism in the town for once.

I think the EFL have left themselves with wriggle room for two options to save Satanage - if they want to. It'll be a committee decision taking us back to the days of re-election. Barrow (and presumably Harrogate) will be allowed up but the EFL Mafia can still get rid of Macc by deducting more points. They've also worded things so that there could be no relegation at all if (in their opinion) the National League doesn't start soon enough to provide enough income for the club they're kicking out.

The way our chairman was talking last week he doesn't expect lge 2 to restart until fans are allowed back, so if that's the case, non league will restart at same time as lge 2.

It depends if majority of lge 2 decide to start a new season without fans, and I just don't see how they can afford it, at least the majority of them.

I read somewhere that football fans may be back in stadiums by the autumn

I've been watching lots of the casinos open in Vegas and they have infrared temperature gauges at the entrances. I know it's not cheap, but with that and plenty of hand sanitzers, then surely people could start going to reduce capacity crowds? They would surely pay for themselves if it means fans can start coming back much sooner. I'd think it's perfectly do-able by the start of the new season?

Palmer had a very impressive season. Made a real impression here. Huge improvement on the bag of nerves that was Matt Macey the season before.

See no reason why he couldn’t at least deputise at a Championship club but assuming you get promoted and he needs regular game time ... :hopefully:D
