My train trip from Adelaide to Darwin has been cancelled due to Covid restrictions. Everyone has closed their border with Victoria so I'm stuck in this ****ing state until everyone wakes up and gets vaccinated. I paid $6,000 for this trip and have been looking forward to it for months, the last couple of which I've been watching our vaxxed numbers climb oh too slowly for the border to open up. The only saving grace is that by the end of this month regional Victoria will/should be open so I can at least go somewhere for a few days. discoveraustralia.com.au meanwhile will have the unenviable task of contacting everyone who can't make the trip and rebook everyone for a future, safer date.
Nice trip to Lisbon in a few weeks and then Barcelona at the end of November both for work. Hopefully back out to Portugal in December then will be waiting for the Maldives which are booked for June
