Thought I'd beat Daz to it. :D

    Anyone going on Saturday?

To be honest, I don't see any reason why we can't come away with at least a point.

    Thoughts, predictions?

Why not follow our lead again...like last night and earn another point!

I wish we can copy your win at Newcastle...most unlikely however.

Wigan are more confident and better than when we met them in September but then so are you Blades.

Good stadium and decent view actually.

I'll be going again, looks like I've got decent seats this time. Hopefully can stand up for a change, fed up of being sat there the whole bloody match.

I think we'll lose to be honest, Mr. Negative that I am, but I can't see any reason why we can't get a point, I just don't think we will.

I hope I'm wrong though, if we can win we're halfway there!

Becks wont be playing cos he got his fifth yellow last saturday night against sevilla after he'd scored. That's how daft he is gets back in the team and scores and then got a cheap yellow, he must goin to some celeb xmas party or shopping with P Diddy in NYC.

I am off to Wigan too predicting a draw 0-0 or........ a 1-0 win to the mighty red n white wizaaards!

He'll probably be on the bench and come on for the last half hour.

Davis might start tomorrow too, which would make us look more solid in defence I reckon.

Although I haven't been to the game today (the perils of working in a supermarket at Xmas) it sounds like you were the dirty ones today. Morgan given a black eye by McCulloch (I think) and a penalty awarded and then mysteriously turned down.

However, a fantastic result for the Blades. I honestly thought we'd get a point at best from this game, so to be only the 4th team to come away from the JJB with maximum points this season is amazing. It seems like the team are starting to get some genuine belief and confidence back, and it is showing in the performances and results. 10 from 12 now and 4 unbeaten. If we can get anything at all next week at pompey it'll be looking good for our survival chances.

AMAZING game...thought it was going to be a snorefest. Both teams gave so much. Warnock and Jewell were equally entertaining. Finally, a ref without a giant ****ing ego; good call to reverse the penalty decision...

Wigan folks should fill that mini stadium....shame.

What to watch players on £20,000 a week give 10% ? ferk off.

I hope the "amazing game" comment is ironic.

Got what we deserved today. Wp Sheff

The ref got it right to turn the pen down after consulting his linesman. Even Warnock agreed with that, although he'd probably have been foaming had we gone on to get an undeserved equaliser.

As for McCullouch its good to see that someone still has a bif of fight in them,

Well with the way he played today he might as well have been on the bench for the first hour like he was for the last 30 mins.

I thought we looked decidedly over powered in midfield with Tonge commin in and that we looked unbalance with a gapping hole in front of back 4 cos Jags n Tonge neglected their defensive duties, poor S Quinn looked jaded havin to cover across for these two when wigan broke. We looked more solid later when stretch n monty came on.

If wigan had come at us early like they did in the second half I really think we could have had problems but as it was we got the away with wigan being under par in that first half n a stroke of luck with the goal right before half time.

This gave us something to defend and hang on too, the second half was again even though with us havin to soak up pressure but looking dangerous on the break with both keepers makin good saves to keep parity.

I must blow my own trumpet for the prediction earlier in the thread too, but was kickin myself all the way back for not puttin my money where my mouth is.

    14th n all together now.........we're all goin on a european tour, a european tour.... we're all goin on a european tour, a european tour....
