Nope. You never forgot what you did when a major event like that happens. You're more likely to remember where you were, what you were doing, who you were with rather than what actually happened that day.
I too was at football training when it all happened, then I got a lift home my mates dad told me what had happened and I thought he was just having me on. It is a sobering thought that I was going through that same metal detector where one of the planes was Hijacked only a month earlier, if I'm honest it has put me off flying a little bit but I'd do it if I had to
