I see WWE have done some of their usual post WrestleMania released. Only one I’ve heard of was Jinder Mahal. It was only 4? months ago the WWE stans were telling us how great he was & how much they enjoyed his WWE title run - so they must be gutted
Meh they weren't using him so better to let him go probably show up at TNA or something. Dunno why you are so rattled by someone enjoying something you don't though lmfao.
They released the two big boys Mahal managed too Xia Li had lots of mini pushes that never equated to anything Xyon Quinn was enhancement talent I see Matt Hardy returned to TNA last night, that likely squashes his rumours of a WWE return
Saw the Hardy return...my interest in anything TNA do now has gone with him over there doing the worst gimmick of all time again.
I would guess that Matt will wait for Jeff's contract to end, and then the two of them will go and get a Hall of Fame spot.
No one enjoyed Jinders WWE title run, no one… People pretended they did some 8 years later as some sort of twitter beef with Tony Khan / AEW. Weird.
It definitely wasn't as bad as some made out anyway his presentation was good just a bit of a dud run done only because of his heritage.
AEWlove a great PPV. They juat need to get better at scheduling them well in advance, and maybe do something about the weekly shows, as they feel too disjointed.
Will Ospreay vs Bryan Danielson happened, it was outstanding, and I can't do it justice with more words. Just go and watch it, even if you can think of any reason not to. Pac vs Okada was great and would've been match of the night on a different show. Nice reception for Pac on the way out, and Okada pretty much cementing as a full heel now. Brilliant to see Swerve get his moment, the man has been the hottest thing on AEW and fully deserves his run with the gold. I agree, I think Dynamite is still good most weeks, but Collision can be a real chore to get through. PPVs though are almost always excellent, and Dynasty was certainly up there.
Watched the Ospreay/Danielson match. It really was great. Even better than Ospreay/Takeshita imo. Definitely gonna be match of the year. Arguably one of the best ever actually.
Ospreay/Danielson was probably the better match but I enjoyed Roddy Strong vs Kyle O'Reilly more personally ( I am a big fan of both though from NXT days)
So The Elite are finally taking over. Be interesting to see what Omega does on his return next week. Apparantly the Jacksonville Jaguars have stuff to do with the NFL draft this weekend, so hopefully Tony Khan is wearing a neckbrace!
A lot of people didn't like the Roddy v Kyle match, but I also really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the GYV, or whatever they are called now, debuting on Collison. Hopefully this is a permanent signing for AEW, as I love those guys. I was suprised HHH didn't want to keep them around, as they are great as a tandem, and they give a good promo.
In fairness they weren't given the greatest of things to do at the end of their NXT run, you don't have a team like them put with Joe Gacy. Their stuff in NXT UK and early NXT stuff was brilliant. They've been on TNA too so i'm wondering if they're just allowed to pick and choose their dates with both companies at the moment, or if this is the rebirth of some wrestlers crossing over for TNA and AEW.
