i'm not. don't know if anyone on here is- no ones mentioned.

LOL- i figured Essex would be split most between Spurs and West Ham (mixed in with the inevitable set of glory hunters). on a map brentwood appears to me to be just East of East London.

    Super Tottenham from the lane.
Im not jewish and tbh i can only remember meeting about 3 jewish spurs fans in my entire life and i have lived in an areas that have a lot of Tottenham Boys in it.

Anyway those west ham fans, ive never given attention to the rivalry really, ive always liked to see em lose and i love beating them because i know how much it breaks their heart. And i will always have painful memories of them beating us on the last day of the 05/06 season with the infamous lasagne gate. they celebrated that day more then if they had won the cup final the following week. ( i did go mad when gerrard got that last minute equaliser against them).

But theyve always been irrelevant to me and ive always hated Arsenal and Chelsea infinitely more. But ive gotta say after the scum in that away end on sundya and after seeing all the aftermath from west ham fans backing up what they did, well my hatred of the club has intensified.

what makes me laugh they were singing Adolf Hitler songs and ive heard them sing Adolf Hitler hes a cockney boy. He flattened the east end in the war you ****ing muppets.

Now I'm sure that last line must be a tongue in cheek comment, but as for the rest - shocking if true

It's a massive myth about Spurs fans being Jewish. Got nothing against them myself as I don't know any. Yes there are Jewish fans but You will find just as many at the Emirates or West Ham. We have had Jewish owners so people think all the fans must be Jewish.
Always makes me laugh when West Ham sing anti-semitic songs with David Gold owning their club. They used to do the same when Avram Grant was their manager and Benayoun was a player. They never have been the brightest.
As for banning the word Yid, why now? Is it because David Badiel finds it offensive? The same David Badiel who used to put a pineapple on his head and blacken his skin to take the p*ss out of Jason lee? hmmmm pot and kettle.

Well within minutes of the start we got a massive Yid army chant out of defiance for a poorly thought out strategy by London Met. Heard this morning that the police arrested one spurs fan. Pretty sad really.

1 fan out of 30,000+. Pathetic from the authorities.

Has it actually been confirmed that was the reasoning for the arrest or is that just speculation on the media's part?
I find it difficult to believe one sole fan could have been singled out for that alone, you could have caught any number of people chanting it. Myself included.

I think it's easier to make a bigger story than it actually is though. Sounds ridiculous when singling one fan out but I imagine it must have been more than what he said.

Drunken-ness and behaviour must have played some part. It's impossible to go about singling out the odd person, it was clear as day and you could have arrested any number of people for it.

yeah, it's an easy pick up to say one fan got arrested for it, it sensationalises it, but out of 30k+ there would have been more to it than just that.

I hope those arrested get good solicitors that are able to use the chanting during the game as a good reference point for them being targeted by police with nothing better to do. Why did they not arrest anyone during the game?

Shocking but very typical of the police for what was a weak attempt at ending this legacy.

I read an article somewhere that stated he chanted it straight in an officer's face, and this "made him easier to single out and bring to justice" (or words to that effect, can't remember word for word).

When we played you there was no problem with the terminology aimed at our fans yet when we replied giving you abuse back we got reported by the Jewish press.
