Quality player. Deserves to have a place in our starting line-up.

@borussia_en: The votes are in and Andreas #Christensen is your October player of the month. Congratulations, Andreas! #fohlenelf https://t.co/9MxVBZb14j

Nice to see Christensen's loan is going well in Germany. There's an option for a second year so hopefully he'll develop a lot in that time.

You lot got a little gem in Charly Musonda and done very well to send him to Spain, would get chopped up in England.

Yeah, sounds like he's doing alright over there. He's been highly rated for a few years now but I do worry he might be a bit too small for the PL. Already getting knocked over loads in La Liga.

The PL might be a bit more physical but the Spanish League is a lot more cynical. He'll need to gain a bit more muscle but he has impressed me so far. I knew he was technically good and very composed but didn't realise how fast he really was.

What seems quite clear is if he's not given his chance here he'll happily leave. He has a lot of self confidence so he will leave it we're blocking his progress. Which you can't blame him for.

Will be interested to see what he's regular position will become. Based on youth football he performs much better centrally but his size could be an issue. I've said before he needs to try and follow Modric's example.

I hope he gets a chance, again another superb game from him today.
I'm not a big fan of the loaning players to another team in the same league but if he's not going to play next season he could really do with a loan to another PL club to see if he can manage the physical aspect.

Modric is a nice example, but I think he's more versatile because he's faster, could start on the wing like Sterling or play as a 10 like Silva.
I might be biased but I really think this kid is special and I'll be very surprised if he doesn't make it regardless of his size.

Anyone else think that Loftus-Cheek is overrated? I don't even think he shows enough potential to be getting into our squad. Too lazy for me.

I agree with you...... Ducked out of a couple tackles and spent the rest of time strutting about. Didn,t create anything.

At least the youth team haven't let us down! Back to back Champions League winners after beating PSG 2-1 this afternoon.

Some good players in there but always hard to judge in comparison to last years team. Last years team was particularly special.

How much would Ake cost if we wanted to sign him/he wanted to come?

No idea but as he's classed as home grown for both the PL and CL standards he could potentially be valuable to Chelsea.

Nice to see a PL side interested in one of our youth products though. Regularly producing PL standard players can only lead to a gem coming through.

Chelsea have won the UEFA Youth League and FA Youth Cup double again, this time with matchday squads where EVERYONE is England eligible.

Chelsea are only the second team ever to win three straight FA Youth Cup titles and the first since the 1950s Manchester United vintage.

Just the 5 FA Youth Cups in the last 7 years
