Can’t stand the little prick but he’ll be a decent poacher in the right system, think Carrick is the perfect manager for him to play under.

We’ve signed Twine with the money received (reportedly £5m for Conway), and then £3.2m + add ons on Twine.

Yeah, Jes is an absolute don.

Agreed needs to bulk up but great feet and end product.

That Rak-Sakyi deal is an absolute disgrace by the way. Potentially £4m for player who can leave in 4 months time and probably has playing time guarantees.

I'd be so disappointed if Leeds were doing that, even if he was brilliant.

I would imagine surely it's not going to reach £4 million unless Sheffield United were to be promoted. £2 million is far too much to spend on a loan signing at this level. Was similar with Harry Wilson at Cardiff, and they had nothing to show for it.

No way we've got near £5m up-front surely

Up to 4.5m depending on various clauses coming from our end.

Szmodics gone for around £9m plus add ons. Despite age that's cheap when you think what being in the Prem is worth.

That's roughly £35m sold/gained since Jan with Wharton, Raya (clause), Gallagher and then a couple of fringe players. Squad still needs a goalkeeper, full back, midfielder and wide forward for me.

I haven't read anything about it but nothing surprises me these days. If it's 'up to' £4m then I presume that means he can't be recalled and substantially weighted based on his and our performance.

Twine finally signed. Probably the only ambivalent City fan about this. Was definitely worth bringing in on loan but needs to kick on to the next level now to be worth his fee

Two more in for us today, making it 14 in total so far.

Marselino Ferdinan. 19 year old Indonesian striker, with 26 caps for Indonesia already, and known as the Indonesian Messi. He's something of a superstar over there and has 4 million Instagram followers. Two of our owners are Indonesian, including Erick Thohir, who is head of the Indonesian FA, a future FIFA President, and former owner of DC United, and Inter Milan, and it looks very much as though Erick was behind this transfer. He could be crap, he might be a real find, but it'll be interesting finding out. Our social media channels have been swamped since the signing by literally hundreds of thousands of Indonesians!

The second signing is much more conventional. 27 year old Dutch right back Hidde Ter Avest, who's played all of his football in either the Eridivisie or Serie A joins from Utrecht. He looks to have played regularly everywhere he's been and is described as strong and lightning quick.

Believe it or not, we probably aren't finished yet.

I watched the highlights of a few Indonesia games in the Asia Cup earlier this year and he looked a good player, clearly the standout.

We've signed Femi Azeez from Reading. Looks like just the type of player we need, whether Harris gives him a run is another matter entirely.

Wil you go back to a more defensive approach after the goal fest but no points so far?

Mind you were pretty unlucky against us tbh.

A signing completely out of the blue. No rumours or anything, love when that happens.

I wasn't expecting another forward through the door but he seems to have potential. I'm hoping for a C(D)M before the window closes.

Just signed Tom Krauss from Bundesliga side Mainz on a seasons loan. Three in a week as we try to avoid making the same mistakes as last year by not having sufficient cover or competition for places.
