The third ODI between England and the winners started this morning in Hobart. England had the baggy yellows on 50-4 but then some middle order heroics from Ash Gardner (who was superb), Beth Mooney and Tahlia McGrath repaired the damage before Georgia Wareham came in at the death and slayed all before her in making 38 from a dozen white apples. Finished on 308 -9 which is about 150 too many for a team full of Lionesses that have been tamed by the game keeper.

England are making a bit of a fight of it but there's way too many dot balls. Asking rate has risen to 7.53. 124-3 at the halfway mark..

Terrible cricket from England. Australia made three spectacular catches but we lost five wickets for about fifteen runs and these girls already look a beaten squad. This Ashes series is going the same way of some of the men's one sided rubbers.

Can't see us getting past the Thunder but it would be so Melbourne to win it just as I'm leaving the country. Maxwell has been immense these last four games but he can't keep doing it on his own..

I am not 100% but I think the 4 teams left will lose their Test players again. I say that as Cooper Connolly said he couldn’t play if Perth did qualify.

When you back off to Blighty (????) mate :(

We fly to Perth on Saturday, have a few days with our son and a few days in Margaret River before our flight to Dublin on the 7th February.

I wouldn't take anything Hartley says other than with a pinch of salt, but England's form in this series has been alarmingly bad. The Aussies when fielding look like athletes in peak condition, the England team do not. I can understand Sophie's stance, the better players in the team have been let down badly by the rest of the squad..

Yes you certainly beee to be in good shape and form to stand any chances of beating the Aussies.

Hobart Hurricanes heading to the BBL final as maybe expected .

Sixers who gave it a good go get another chance in the Eliminator.

Presume it’s TNT as they have the rights to Indian home games ?

    140 all out.

Wonder if we can manage to not lose all the games in India?

Ouch! Haven't seen the highlights yet but it looks like we still can't play spin.

In the County Championship, my team Hampshire have just announced James Vince won't play red ball cricket this year after moving to Dubai and our attack will now still be led by Mo Abbas, Kyle Abbott and Keith Barker, who have a combined age of about a million years. We're a solid bet for relegation this coming season and they also now want to put my membership up to £250. They can fvck right off, first time in 50 years I've not had a County membership.

Bloody hell! I can’t believe Keith Barker is still playing, he coached Bob Willis at Warwickshire in the 80s, he must be 103 years old..
