Nice that Atalanta didn’t go 0 for 2 in their hardware chase this month.

Well, well deserved for Atalanta. The Leverkusen unbeaten treble was a near irresistible story, but they were well beaten. What a game for Lookman. I've seen Atalanta do that to us first hand, and they absolutely outworked & outplayed then again.

    Very impressive from Atalanta.

That defeat for Liverpool doesn’t seem so bad now .

    Outstanding performance Lookman .

Just one of those sides that can turn it on and look superb once in a while, inconsistent, a bit Spurs like maybe? I see they are now 5th in the league with the chance to make the top 3, yet they've lost twice as many games as the other top 5 sides.

I was talking about leverkusen but that's a fair assessment of atalanta I'd say. They'll finish fourth in the lesgue if they win their last 2 games. Finish 5th and that'll be 5 Italian tesms in the champions lesgue next season I think

They ripped us to shreds at home, very aggressive, and give you a lot to think about tactically. I don't wanna see them again in the CL next season.
Oh as if, 1st game they've lost all season. You shoulda brought in Gasperini instead of Kompany, he clearly knows how to beat Leverkusen. Meanwhile Kompany won 5 games last season...

Six Italian teams in the Champions league next season.

Top 4, Europa League winners and Serie A were awarded an extra place through their coefficients.

Gasperini has beaten Amorim, Klopp and Alonso, great run.

Naive from Alonso who shoulda seen how we got jumped at Anfield and prepared for it. The same thing happened to them.

Man to man is not gonna win you the league, but you can punch well above your weight in one off games if you execute it right.

Yeah the Italian League seems to be well and truly on the way back up after a decade or so of being pretty average.

But if atalanta finish in 4th or 5th that'll only be five teams won't it? I don't think the 6th place team would get in unless that is atalanta
