Drop back is annoying, but if you can get to grips with the timed finesse shots you can score enough from 20-25 yards while their defence sits back inside the 18 yard box. You don’t have to play the meta - I’m now in D2 playing balanced defence, 50 depth, and possession based chance creation. Nice, he’s a monster tbf! So IIRC the Hero SBC is untradeable- who are you going to play around him since you basically just traded everyone for him?
I have built a decent hybrid team around him and the two Dutch OTW (Kluivert & Boadu) from the French league with what I have left only player I was annoyed at losing is Bruno Fernandes but Di Natale more than makes up for that.
Easily. I used Fernandes for a short while pretty early on but he just didn’t do it for me - Di Natale however has torn me a new one a few times when I’ve faced him.
Yeah played a few games with him he's a beast using him Chiesa & Barella down the right it's working quite nicely.
Ive got quite a ridiculous team now to be fair with Eto’o leading the line and Ljungberg, Larsson and Joe Cole behind him. Ljungberg is seriously cheap for what he can do at under 100k, and while there are surely better RWs than Cole he’s not in everyone’s sweat team so he’ll do for me. Rulebreaker Gundogan and Rukebreaker Onyeka in the pivot roles with a back four of Telles, VVD, Rulebreaker Rudiger and Cancelo. De Gea between the pins. I plan on upgrading Telles and De Gea next, but not in a rush - the team is versatile enough to play my main 4231, or switch to a 433(4), 4222 or 352 depending on the opposition.

To be fair pack pulls of Eto’o and Larsson have put me way ahead of the curve compared to where I’d normally be at. I’d never have forked out that much for CBs in previous years for example, as I’d be saving to upgrade my attack at this point.
Haven’t packed an Icon in my entire life playing FIFA until this year - first it was Larsson, then Eto’o and now I’ve also pulled mid Blanc from my season one rivals rewards
I put my depth up high and play press after possession loss. Overwhelm these ****ers, a lot of them don't like the pressure. Ended up with a similar tactic, every game is currently ending about 7-4 either way but it’s less frustrating than 77% possession around the edge of the box and losing 1-0. My current team is Spoiler Not done too bad seeming I point blank refuse to put a penny extra in to the game. Adama & Diaby are untradeable and make for a brilliant final throw of the dice if I’m losing after 60 minutes. Ultra attacking with them two bombing forward from full-back certainly leads to goals either way
Really enjoying this years game. Have been trading on FUT for the last couple of years but this year I've started using the web app to do so and it's so much easier. He played up top in game with Messi Cam and Salah RW but my account was hacked the other day and they sold Mbappe and any other player of value that I had for peanuts. Thankfully I logged in on the web app and saw they'd bought Mostovoi for double his value and that a lot of my players (including Mbappe) and transfer list had been sold. They were just in the middle of spending all of my coins so I changed my password. I have just over 3 million coins but don't want to spend half of that on Mbappe so need to think who else to get that's much cheaper. I've opened a case with EA so hopefully I'll get them all back or the coin equivalent as I'd have 5.5m in total. I was in the elite division but obviously got moved back to Div 2 in the new season. Not had the chance to play much rivals but hoping to get back to Elite soon.
Changed formation a couple of times over the past few days but settled with this. There’s obvious areas for improvement but I’m 1 win away from Div 1 so I’m probably gonna stick with it and try build up some coins. Spoiler
Didn’t realise how good my pack luck is until yesterday. Packed untradeable IF Kroos twice in the same day, one of them from a 1 card pack for the Black Friday daily SBC. Decided to use one of them to do a Heroes SBC for the first time before it goes… got Ginola Out of that potential XI I’ve bought Ederson and that’s it. Haven’t put a penny in to the game and never got above Div4 or played weekend league
Nice pulls! I haven’t come across Ginola yet from any of my opponents, evidently a pretty damn rare card. I’ve had much more pack luck than normal this year (team below). All except Cole, Rudiger and Cancelo are first owner - Did the Gundogan SBC and the rest I packed.
