The Trent haters are Fewwwmmmiinnnnn The absolute shite from Facebook experts I have read today, unreal The lad could literally smash in a hattrick of worldies, make a goalline clearance, create 3 other goals, make another goaline clearance...yet you'd still get some dickhead saying "But he gave the ball away on the 63rd minute that ended up giving them a chance, he's shite" Or the best one is "Just dont play him in the big games"? Yeah, a lad whose been an undroppable part of one of the most successful club sides in Europe, for his entire career...shouldnt be played in the "big games? Riiiggghhhtttt
Speaking about Europe I still cannot believe he's still the youngest player EVER to have played in three Champions League finals. It really is an incredible feat that doesn't get talked about anywhere near enough. I hope we can get his contract sorted soon but I got a horrible feeling he's gonna join his mate Belly at Madrid.
Chelsea lying through their clenched teeth again. Liverpool and Chelsea do battle at Anfield on Sunday, and tensions between the two clubs appear to be growing behind the scenes over one particular matter. A new report fromThe Athletic has claimed that a fractured relationship between the duo – as well as Manchester United – at academy level has seen scouts denied access to underage matches. Personnel from Stamford Bridge have claimed that their scouting staff sought accreditation for LFC academy games but had it rejected, an accusation which has been denied by sourced at the Merseyside club. However, it’s understood that future applications from Chelsea are likely to be turned down by Liverpool due to the ‘reciprosal nature of access for scouts at youth level’. The report added:“Multiple people with knowledge of the situation have told The Athletic that Chelsea were the first to restrict access to opposition scouts, although that is denied by a Chelsea source. “Regardless, the west London club’s decision has been interpreted as a response to losing 16-year-old attacker Rio Ngumoha, regarded as one of the brightest talents Cobham has produced in recent years, to Liverpool last summer. United also made an attempt to sign Ngumoha. ”The Athletic adds that while no formal ban has been issued since that would go outright against Premier League rules, the situation has become fraught with tension between staff at Liverpool and Chelsea. Representatives from the two clubs and Manchester United are understood to have met recently for negotiations on how to amicably resolve the situation, although a workable solution has yet to be reached.
Yeah he looked in the mood the second he came on. Hope this carries on for the next month or so, a determined and fired up Nunez is a potent weapon to have.
Ohh Ya Beauty, What a hit son... Teen Liverpool loanee Lewis Koumas scores STUNNING overhead strike for Stoke against Bristol!
Ben Doak is a quality player - hopefully we return him to you intact Shouldn’t have really been subbed today
Didn’t get into the team initially but is now in and setting up chances for the forwards. We’re an attack minded team so looks like he’s going to fit in
Whatever shit gets spouted about this fella, he's proven his worth over his entire stay at Liverpool, always delivers in the big games, something a lot of "big stars" quite often fail to do. Doesn't bloat his stats with hattricks against the shit teams...just relentlessly gets that vital goal just when we need one. Phenomenal footballer and what a bargain he turned out to be. Best in the league over the period imo.
Klopp really turned him into the player he is in the Premier League by playing football to his strengths, and he has proved that he is world class. Well worth the money spent and what a bargain, I can't imagine how much he would have been worth if he played like that before we signed him.
You think Ballon d'Or is bad, Mo Salah doesnt even make the top 10 of African player of the year... Both us and City have played all of Ipswich, Chelsea, Arsenal, Brentford, Bournemouth and Wolves. The games each of us have played that the others haven't are We have played Man United Brighton Notts Forest Crystal Palace City have played Fulham Newcastle West Ham Southampton
