Just another quick update on our transfer activity, if you have a few minutes to read it all.

6 days from the start of the season and we have still signed no-one, are not rumoured to be signing anyone, haven't sold anyone or are rumoured to be selling anyone.

On the plus side we have had a very good pre-season, beating a number of Championship sides and even rattled the Hull manager enough that he complained that we played the match like it was a World Championship final.

Joel Randall signed a new 3 year deal with Posh .

Probably the player in our squad atm who has the best footballing brain , shame he doesn't like to tackle or head a football but give him space & he'll destroy you .

MacAnthony stated on his Hard Truth Podcast today that Posh are maxed out cap wise & we need players out or nobody else is incoming & Kabongo Tshimanga who has turned down 2 Vanarama clubs who Posh have agreed fee with & 1 League 2 club who Posh have turned down fee wise hasn't been given a squad number & banished to the Under 21's for the season , be good for all to get rid & Crichlow & Ajiboye to .

Ollie Rathbone off to Wrexham for a decent fee according to SE.
Shame but he was on the last year of his contract and refused a new one.

According to MacAnthony on today's Hard Truth Podcast & Fergie now the first 3rd of the Szmodics add on cash is here Posh are hopeful of an unamed centre back before next Friday's deadline .

Also , if we can shift Ajiboye , Crichlow & Tshimanga who we had a bid from an unamed Scottish club rejected on Tuesday & academy GK Will Blackmore on loan then possibly another striker but other than that the top brass seem happy with what they've got & Posh have spent just under £2 million this summer , tinpot !

Dykes will probably do well in League 1. He just isn't very good.

He is okay if he doesn't have time to think about it, but he's missed so many sitters and his link up play is pretty shit.

He was voted worst striker at QPR on a forum; clearly, he isn't the worst but it comes down to frustrations of not being able to score. I think he averages less than 1 in 4 and that includes penalties. He hasn't improved since arriving.

Not sure how much we'll sell him for. I would like to think it will be around £2m. His contract isn't expiring for another 2 years.

I'm pretty sure Birmingham have a picture of all the players in the world on a wall, and when they wanna sign someone, they just throw a dart and bid for whoever it lands on.

I think the only area we’re short on this year (literally) is a strike partner for May, someone with a bit more muscle who will hold the ball up a bit.

Juke has been a warrior for us over the years but he’s struggling now, the lad Dykes seems like a younger version, the figure quoted down here in more around the £800k mark, if that’s true then I’m all for it.

Good player at this level and one I wanted at blues to compliment May. Him and Louie Barry, were my preferred choices.

You get Taylor and I think you’re sure to go up.

Bloody hell, Birmingham City. Bid of around £9-10m has gone in for #Fulham striker Jay Stansfield, who scored 13 goals for Birmingham on loan last season. Blues trying to do a deal before the deadline: will be the most expensive signing ever in League One by a distance #bcfc #kro

I see Fulham rebuffed your offer for Stansfield.

Had good loan at Northampton and an okay spell but not spectacular at Boltonby the sounds of. We are well stacked with people who can play cb. Hopefully another year loan will do him good and eventually he replaces Bartley and ajayi or if he don't cut it he's on a long term contract so should get an okay fee.
