Absolutely no idea as when we sell a player it's always undisclosed. Unlikely to see any of it go into the squad though. It'll dissappear on covering the "controlled losses" the chairman bangs on about when he actually talks once a year. Hopefully someone can do some digging and actually find out. If the bids been accepted no way the lad turns it down. Although I'm not entirely convinced he's good enough for the championship.
Same here made about £250k from our cup run and now the chairman said it will go to cover losses, they really have no idea and if we don’t go down this season it will certainly be next season, playing with fire. In the summer we look certain to lose all our experience, Justham, Eastman, Hessenthaler and Rees the spine of the team all out of contract and unless they want to take a pay cut they won’t be staying.
This is the sort of stuff that's seen nothing get done about this issue for the last 10 years. If Bosomworth wanted to do something about it he could have and not one person at the council would have cared less. The amount of money its cost him postponed games it probably would have paid for itself by now.
We plat with fire every season ourselves. Sure we are challenging most years at the minute. But we fill our entire squad with young players and hope they come good. Our 2nd oldest player is 26 years old. Aside from Johnson who seems quite happy to play his entire career for us all our better players generally leave when there contracts run out unless we sell them first. Only takes one poor summer and we could end up at the other end of the table. It's happened before in 2016
