The bloke is an absolute beast, I can't believe he is 37. He came to us at 32 and just got better, solid as a rock. Model professional that would run through a brick wall. He's played a massive part in where we are now and is a fan favourite. HIS HEADS F*CKING MASSIVE!!!!
Bit of a strange one, we are ridiculously overstocked with midfielders, albeit 4 of them are out of contract this summer. I trust Tony’s strategy though, so if he’s good enough for him he’s good enough for me. £100k seems like a cheap gamble.
He’s only been available for one game so far, presumably cup tied at the weekend. He came on against Stoke for half hour or so when we were under the cosh, offered himself as a good out-ball, held the ball up well and bought the team forward. Very very early though, obviously.
I’ve read £100k, £500k and even £1m for him Difficult to know what’s the truth but I can’t see it being as high as £1m for a player over 30 and in the last 6-months of his deal. Good luck to him anyway. Loved him in his time here but best for all concerned I think really.

Hopefully he sells up now. Outgoings are caleb Taylor to Bolton on loan. Taylor Gardner hickman to Bristol on a permanent. Released rayhaan tulloch following a failed loan at Bradford.
About 4 years too late but Idah has finally gotten a loan. Sydney van Hooijdonk will be announced on a loan with option to buy deal soon
Placheta also left for Swansea. There's an athlete there for sure, I wonder if they see him as a sort of Dan James type player.
Cardiff seem to have been busy . Cardiff sign Turnbull, Wilson-Esbrand and Horvath Turnbull looks like a good signing . Hopefully won’t gel in time for Saturday!
