went to Cardiff yesterday cracking day out up at 4:45am for 5:45am bus pick up got back about midnight ish so a long day but well well worth it. my away games this season Chesterfield (Pre-season) Bradford (Pre-season) Bradford (cup) Blackburn Scumberland Plymouth Leeds Port Vale (cup) Rotherham Huddersfield Chelsea (cup) Preston Leicester Stoke QPR Southampton Ipswich Cardiff not a bad season considering i work away a lot.
Might've walked past you in Hopwood Park Services after the game when I was travelling back up to Nottingham, a coach load of yours were in there then
Just been totting up my year, 15 away league games with a record of.. P15 W0 D3 L12 Add to that Leicester away in the cup (L3-0) No wonder I’m such a miserable old ****!!!
good going that, mine are Wednesday Gillingham (cup) Plymouth Middlesborough Millwall Watford Norwich Watford (cup) Rotherham West Brom Birmingham Ipswich Cardiff (Leeds) Plus whoever we get in the play offs
You would support Birmingham City though. Can't really expect much better . It's like me moaning about Stoke being shit. I knew what I was signing up for
Milwall Swansea Leicester Leeds Cardiff QPR Huddersfield Birmingham West Ham Coventry Nottingham Forest Sheffield Wednesday West Brom Plymouth Stoke (barring some form of disaster) That's mine this season. 3 wins, 6 draws, 6 losses. Not the greatest record, shame to miss out on half our away wins due to not making Watford, Rotherham and Boro but also didn't make 3 losses and a draw as well. Decent innings really all in all, same again next season I expect.
I thought you’d came up to ours for the 5-0? Good one to miss anyway. That was the highlight of our season
I wanted to but there were train strikes that day so i decided not to, given the result i'm glad i didn't
Well that’s actually 2 more than me and that’s definetly the least I’ve been to in a season since 1987. That is mainly due to illness and Injury, although I have to agree other than watching Wednesday the Passion for Football in general just isn’t there. I’ve been stuck on 88 League or ex League Clubs Grounds (its around 80 current League Grounds and over 100 Grounds in Total) for a while now too and unless we play them in Friendlies or the Cup I can’t see that changing. Even if we (dread to Think) got relegated I wouldn’t get to the Couple in Lge 1 as I’d have nowhere near enough points to get Tickets for those Matches. Still I hope to get it back up to around 8-10 Next season, can’t beat an away day on the Piss.
Hope you are feeling better! For me it's the way our club has been run. They started so well our owners, but last 5 or 6 years every decision they've made has been awful, continually sacking managers when really it's their fault for not supporting them. See Rob Edwards who then went onto getting our arch rivals promoted. Dealing with dodgy agents who currently have court cases against them. And other smaller decisions which have alienated some fans. Not the club I loved growing up for sure. Thankfully I started going to Wealdstone games a few years ago, so much so that I've gone probably 10x more than Watford games since.
And Mr Pozzo himself potentially in trouble! Gone full circle really. Ex popular player in charge with limited squad and no money.
Thank you I’m feeling much Better. Our Club is being run appallingly He’s putting nothing but the bare Minimum in, whilst charging us PL prices for what looked like at the time (February) and could still be League 1 Football. That’s not to mention Plenty of other Crazy decisions. Disgraceful that they can destroy our Clubs and get away with. I know a few who have got involved in the Non League scene and they all seem to really enjoy it. Keep enjoying it, whatever level it is.
