    That isn't why he's gone.

Don't be silly, why would anyone ever leave Celtic?

Foreseeable after the last weeks. The quarrel between general manager Watzke and coach Tuchel was published in the media nearly every day. And today Watzke published even an "open letter" . For those who understand German:

Watzke zu Tuchel-Aus: In der Zusammenarbeit aufgerieben

(for the others, try Google translator ;) )

Tuchel is Dortmund's manager with the best points average ever in the League: 68 Matches, 142 points ( 2.08 points per game). Borussia is unbeaten at home in his 2 years in the League. In 2015/16 Borussia reached 78 points (2nd) that's 3 points more than Jürgen Klopp reached in his first championship season with Borussia in 2010/11 (in 2011/12 he reached 81).

The rumour is that Lucien Favre is top favourite. I don't know if this is a good move. OK, at Nice he has done a marvellous job lately but at the Bundesliga he failed at the end when he quit at Hertha and Gladbach (with a starting "record" of 5 losses in the Bundesliga (even against HSV :D ) and 1 loss in the CL).

Shame for them that Weinzierl went to schalke tbh, he'd have been good.

Weinzierl is overrated, too ;). Couldn't even qualify for the Europa League with Schalke in his first season. Very disappointing season for the royal blues

Yeah, that was a scandal. Over 10 minutes delay after 80minutes because some of the 1860 fans went mad and threw objects on the field.
I am sure that 1860 will get a heavy fine for that from the DFB (unfortunately they'll get the fine although the morons on the stand went wild.
What a pathetic club 1860 has become and it's their own fault. Hiring a portuguese coach (Pereira) who knows **** all of the 2nd tier and doesn't speak the language (as well as his staff). They had a good starting point with the 1-1 at Regensburg and then they failed massively at home in front of 62.000 at the Allianz Arena.

Ian Ayre and President Cassalette already resigned. Vitor Pereira soon, too. And many players.... The once famous 1860 in the 3rd tier again after 24 years. And this "investor" Ismaik from Jordania (?) had Bundesliga and Champions League in mind soon

He did get off to a poor start though didn't he? Crazy news for 1860', Ian Ayre leaving after only a few months .

Getting worse and worse for sechzig, no money, players unpaid, probably no license and relegation to the 4th or 5th division

The pity is though that we probably never ever get a proper derby in Munich again. Not in our lifetime anyway. Otherwise all I can say is that they get what they deserve.

They are going to regret that imo. There was no better man for them. The only upgrade on Tuchel that would have been a realistic option for Dortmund was Nagelsmann. But he already ruled out that move.

There's a few of you on here saying they deserve this, any reason why? As a neutral I kind of feel sorry for them as a big club fallen to such a low level. Is it just because of the supporter violence the other day or have there been historical things to make them disliked like corruption, match fixing etc?

Imo they deserve it for very bad management over many years and selling themselves out to a dodgy investor.
There has been no match fixing or similar as far as I know.
As a Bayern supporter I have made some bad experiences with the fans too of course, but generally they are not known for causing trouble. There are a lot worse fans around in germany to be fair.
But I cant quite get myself to feel sorry for the fans either. The 'hatred' between Bayern and 1860 supporters is quite severe.
However, that wouldnt go as far as work collegues and neighbours etc. not talking to each other in daily life in Munich, or such like.
All in all, the more I think about it, I am rather sad too, that we wont have these often very exciting derbys in Munich anymore, that we had in the late 80's and 90's. Was always the highlight of the season to me.

Yes, I know what you mean. But Hamburg Derbys between HSV and St. Pauli in the Bundesliga are even rarer ;).

So, now it's official. 1860 won't get the licence for the 3.Liga because the deadline of 3:30 pm passed without the guaranteed sum for the licence. Now it's either Regionalliga (4th Division) or even Bayernliga (5th Division). This "investor" Ismaik didn't invest in the 3rd Liga. but it seems he's still there?
Unbelievable this guy. Even pressed the club in the last days with claims they couldn't fulfill because of the German Football league system rules. Shows clearly that he hasn't the slightest clue of the German football league system and the rules.

Paderborn will take 1860's place in division 3.
