Harsh scoreline because Newcastle have edged it for me.

Conflicted here. I can't wish for United to win anything. But at the same time, I can't hope for a minute Newcastle and what they now represent to experience anything other than embarrassing, abject failure in anything they do. Can't they both lose?

First goal looked offside to me but the angle they showed was shit.

Going exactly how I expected it to. Newcastle need to learn to channel their emotional approach into a winning one. I watched them get ripped apart by Liverpool last week where they started like 11 madmen on the pitch.

They been garbage for two months now and I gave them the benefit of the doubt citing the distraction of the league cup taking their eye off the ball but you have to call a spade a spade at some point, they’re in a shit run of form.

The worry for them now is if this gets worse, how much damage does it do for the rest of their season?

Antony asking for a kicking there. Richarlison got smashed doing that at Forest, definitely going to wind players up doing that in a cup final

Yep, Joelinton lucky he didn't make proper contact though as he could have seen red there.

Newcastle have probably edged it, but up front they are toothless.

I can't see them getting back into it now, United usually turn up in the second half.

Hopefully not. But I suspect they have something coming their way in the next 5 years. Not that it won't have a massive asterisk above it ala City since 2008.

United have been poor imo, lucky for them Newcastle cant finish to save their lives, puzzling why he took Saint Maximin off, he was their biggest threat.

Maguire comes on. United just trolling Newcastle now.

Wilson rolling around and then instantly jumping back up enjoy watching that on the highlights with your family later, muppet.

Newcastle could play all night and not score ,big mistake from Howe to play Wilson let alone leave him on the pitch for 90 mins and Karius has stopped this being a slaughter ,some top saves in there today.
