Disappointed we didn't get double figures...

What exactly happened with the Spartak fans? Was sat above them just too high so couldn't find out properly, police were in there every few minutes.

Not sure, after the racism incident at the youth game they could've just been zero tolerance.

2nd leg vs Porto @ Anfield: March 6th.
    Man U @ Old Trafford: 10th March.

Not ideal considering Klopp's new love for rotation, ah well.

Think we will be okay tbh Porto are a quite attacking team so should play into our hands.

Also the rotation hasn't failed us yet tbf we have a good squad.

As you'd expect rotation has been fine vs the poorer sides but we drew against Chelsea & Everton after leaving 2 players out of the starting lineup. I'm confident in saying we'd have thrashed Everton full strength, Chelsea we'll never know. Regardless, it's obvious that if we don't go full strength at Old Trafford then we're gonna struggle to win that.

But yeah we're one of the best counter attacking sides in Europe so hopefully we get a nice lead in the away leg & Klopp can rotate all he wants for the 2nd leg!

Who is to say we would have won those 2 games though it is all conjecture.

Little bit underwhelmed by that tie tbh. Really wanted somebody like Madrid or Barcelona.

We've got a good chance of progressing but this is exactly the kind of match we'll slip up in.

tbf we've been dispatching the poorer sides well recently, if not for a hell of alot of complacency yesterday we'd have won that. I'm confident we'll progress, there's plenty of time for a glamour tie in the next round. Also, we could even have a new CB by then, or some other new recruits.

It is but what is a fact is that we dropped 4 points at home in those games so to say the rotation is working is a stretch.

Klopp is smart to rotate to avoid what happened last season but the way he rotates is bizarre. 1 example: Phil left out completely vs Stoke, he plays vs Spartak, that's great, we won both games, but then why does he need a rest vs Everton after 1 game? It's overkill. & why was he left on for the whole 90 vs Spartak if he needed a rest? It was 5-0 after 50 minutes.

Agreed he will probably start the Fab 4 against Brom as well which is hilarious.

I don't really like it but it's an easy way of referring to them. I hate 'fab'.
