I think I can hear the EFL's FFP lawyers galloping towards Shepherds Bus.

Missed the three year mark by a week. Wasn’t a straight red in a million years but Sav would have been sent off anyway as he’d already been booked.

Adam Armstrong the only player in the top four leagues and top leagues around Europe to be in double figures for goals and assists.

96th minute equaliser after a team has spent twenty five minutes time wasting, delightful

Do you think him and others will get binned off when you go up? Considering their previous top flight failures.

Difficult to tell. It's always easier for a player to perform in a team he's come up with than when signing for a new one, especially considering we signed him when we were shit and struggling to create anything.
He'll be 26/27 so I think we will keep him.

Since September only Preston and Coventry have taken the lead against us.

I see what their problem is.

    They aren't us.

Emil Riis has scored 6 in 6 against Middlesbrough. Any similar records?

That Zian Flemming at Millwall seems to haunt us.

So we're the most clinical side in the league and one of the least creative. It's a weird season, if Will Keane hadn't turned out to be a beast this year then we'd likely be in a relegation scrap.

We're 23rd in the expected goals table, 17th for goals conceded, yet were joint 6th on points....

I used to fear playing against Chris Iwelumo, who turned into Alan Shearer when he played against us. 8 goals in 8 games, although 4 were in one game against Colchester. He did assist a few too.

Bloke scored against us for Colchester, Watford, Charlton, and Burnley.

A more recent example would be Kieran Dowell. Scored all three goals for Forest to beat us, then roughly a year or so later joins Wigan and scores another hat-trick as they demolish us 8-0 at our lowest during our relegation season.

Yep. Iwelumo bullied us too. Scored hat tricks against us for both Burnley & Wolves I think.

Crouch seemed to have a good record against us too.

I remember David Nugent used to score against Ipswich without fail.

Saw a good one today on our site: McKenna has now had 100 league games in charge (W57 D31 L12 Pts 202). No team across the top four divisions – including Manchester City – have claimed more points in that same period.

    Odd historical stat.

In 1928/29 season, Cardiff conceded the fewest goals in the First Division but finished bottom of the league.
