My daughter passed her practical test last week. It took her three attempts, getting only one more question wrong that she should done. I think those tests are £25.00 a throw, so thats £75.00 She has her driving test in June. Its £55.00 plus £34.00 for the driving instructor's time, totalling £89.00
Are you sure you don't mean the Theory? You get a theory and a practical.. Theory is the questions; practical is the driving around. I passed my theory first time, getting 48/50 I don't think my practical will be that hard though. I can drive perfectly and never **** up my manouevres. Oh, and ScunnySadAndy, we can have some pro evo matches without the online-ness. That means I get to rub it in your face man to man.
DF.. don't underestimate it. I thought i could drive perfectly, but when i passed a couple of weeks ago i was 10x the driverthan i was when i took my first test. In my own experience, i could do all the manouvers etc perfect everytime, however it's your mental thoughts, are you looking? where? whats that old lady doing etc, which is exactly why i failed No1
God knows how many lessons, probably 40 odd at least and passed second time which is pretty good for a lad!
No, she has done her theory - £25.00. She is now in the process of booking her driving around test and thats £55.00 plus the driving instructor's time for taking her
Got a driving lesson in an hour  Had about 10 or so back in September but had to stop because I couldn't afford it. Already passed my theory, so hopefully shouldn't be too long before I'm passed...
You're with Jim then I take it? I had lessons with Lynn a few months back, but lets just say we didn't really see eye to eye... Wimmin shouldn't be on't roads anyway!
Well?? Did you pass? 26 1 Best- parallel parking worst- reverse round corner. thank **** i didn't get it i would of failed for sure i just cant do them!
Did you pass mate? I've got mine in 10 days time. Already bricking it just thinking about it! Couple more lessons until then, just a matter of driving around and killing time. Absolutely nailed all the manouvres and all that jazz, just need to get a bit more confident driving around town... As Dennis Norden once said, it'll be alright on the night!
Isn't there something you can do where you pay for an intensive course and have lots of lessons as well as then taking your test in like the course or a month or something? I'm not to sure how much it costs though
You can go on a crash course where they are held a few places around the country (Blackpools the nearest in the north west I think) and you spend a weekend probably doing around 30 hours driving which costs 500 quid. Instructors don't recommend them though as it's just a quick pass and doesn't improve you as a driver. It is appropriately named. One of my mates has just done it and he's a terrible driver!
Had about 35-40 hours of lessons, passed 1st time with one minor. Thing is though, i passed in july and wont be looking at getting a car until next june, so will probably have forgotten it all by then
