Think i had nearing 30 lessons. Passed first time. Reverse round a corner and Parallel parking i had, if i had to do them maneuvers again now i bet i'd fail haha!
I am about to have my 9th tonight. I really want to pass by November at latest.. my driving instructor said on average you need 30-35 hours. Might try do 4/5 hours a week from now on..
Got my test on Tuesday.. little bit nervous already! Had a mock test in my lesson earlier and passed with half a dozen minors, so hopefully I'll be reet!
it took me 6 tests and abround 50 lessons, I always messed up by making minor mistakes which turned into something failable lol, so be careful the first 10 minutes when your at your most nervous
^ It doesn't matter how you pass though I suppose main part is when you pass that's when you learn most.
I think it was Jeremy Clarkson that said if you fail your test more than twice you shouldn't be allowed to drive anymore and just take the bus. I'm on around 25 lessons at the moment. Hopefully I'll be passed before christmas.
Already bought one mate, as I already told you earlier! Citroen Saxo, 1.1, 4 door, 66,000 miles: £800, boo-yah! Just have to wait til Thursday to drive the bloody thing again while it's getting its MOT!
Ive had 6. Doing well. Only can afford 20 so Il av to get me skates on, or should I say seatbelt on.....
im only 16 but when i turn 17 hopefully i can start getting lessons iv been wanting to drive so much all my mates have cars and it pisses me off that i have to take the bus haha and btw how do i go about getting my Provisional?
Apply for one online, its about £45 now for a provisional I think, not too sure though, send off your passport to DVLA when they ask for it in e-mail, and they will send you your provisional around a week later, the site is direct.gov or something
I am on 12 now, reckon I'll need 15-18 or so more? Did all the maneavours yesterday - all went well. Just need to concentrate more on the road.. signs etc, speed limits. Hope everyone else who is learning is doing well.
