Love the designs coming forward - some great options. I'd like to see how DT's looks without the glow effect, and possibly some font options on each of the designs.
@UptheTics We really appreciate your efforts; the designs you put forward are fantastic. We have decided to go with the design @Digital Twisted put together for the time being, as it harps back to the site's past. DT - could you please put together a square version of the logo with the ball only for me? I need this to act as a favicon, and an open graph logo for Facebook. Cheers mate.
@TAFKAP @TLC @StretfordEnd @Ollie Taf told me we can make the banner skin specific so thought I'd whip some Dark Skin specific examples up: That's what it would look like with the Dark background. I made the 'Football' text match the skin colour and tapered off the white band to give it a nicer looking finish. or we could go the whole hog.... (I'd even out the lighting effect on this one so the edges matched the original dark background colour so it wouldnt look out of place.) Here I mocked up another example of the light version, this time matching the blues for Football and moving the text over to fill the little void on the left rather than tapering. I've also changed the wording slightly below as you can see to display to newcomers just how long we've been going. .............and I've just accidentally saved over my template for making all these so FML.
@Digital Twisted cool bro, was just about to mention that I'm not a fan of the kinda violet colour of the FOOTBALL part when viewing in the dark skin. I would make that FOOTBALL part the same colour as the band of blue at the top of the forum that has the alerts , your profile etc in; for the dark skin.
@Digital Twisted It might actually be better with the football in white & the rest in that blue colour, or just the forums bit in blue flanked by the football & net in white, if you can be arsed to try that. As long as it has the blue in it somewhere.
@Digital Twisted I'm sure once the sloth drags himself out of bed he will do something with these. But since he finally dragged his vodka soaked carcass upstairs at about 04:00 this morning I wouldn't hold your breath xxx
