Button off to the World Endurance Championships to partner Anthony Davidson (winner of the 2014 season), with Alonso taking his place at McLaren. Is my guess anyway.
Anyone seen the video of the drivers press conference on the BBC website? Nico has a dig at Lewis about "driving clean".........yeah I know how ironic. The funny thing is the camera just catches Button's face as he says it and you can literally see him thinking "that's rich coming from you" http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/30134015
Hamilton fastest in first and second practice. If he grabs pole it'll be a huge sycological victory over rosberg. I like jenson. Probably the most likeable driver for me.
Both Red Bull cars excluded from qualifying for driving illegal cars Assume that means they will start from the back.
Their front wings were too flexible, against current relegations. Claims have been made for the last five years over their dominant period about their wings being very bendy which has given them a decent advantage. First time they have actually failed a test though. Adam Cooper @adamcooperF1 26m26 minutes ago Re the RBR wing flaps, I'm told the FIA discovered a leaf spring arrangement encased in a rubber shroud Interesting... I wonder if they got a tip off from someone? Because they wouldn't abe able to test for that normally?
Pretty shocking stuff from Red Bull... ...a disqualification both at the first race (fuel consumption) of 2014 and now from qualifying at the last race of 2014. It does cast further doubt over some of the designs and components of their cars 2009-2013. And lest we forget they were found guilty over their "holes in the floor" in that time period. They are certainly a hard team to like.
