If Lens wins their next 2 games and PSG lose their next 2, with a gd swing of 24, Lens wins the title.
    Almost impossible though

The only reason PSG fans want to win this title is because it'll be a record 11th league (PSG & Saint-Etienne are currently on 10 each). We've been awful to watch, knocked out of the CL 1st KO stage without scoring a single goal (against a weak Bayern side), knocked out of the French Cup by ****ing Marseille and globally having players who simply don't care.

Mbappé is supposed to make his decision this summer whether he wants to add a 3rd year to the contract he signed last summer. I wouldn't blame him if he didn't go for that extra 12 months. Club is rotten.

    Ehem, and O.Marseille.

PSG won't truly take off as long as Al-Khelaifi is in "direct" charge. Look at City: it is basically run by Pep and Begiristain, with a bunch of docile British and Arabian "yes men" behind them.

You missed the best news of the week: Rodez score at Bordeaux in Ligue 2 in a crucial match for both sides (Bordeaux for promotion & Rodez for the drop) and the goalscorer is "attacked" by a fan (was a very mild physical agression but I reckon the trauma is more psychological as it means a footballer can get attacked by a fan with security being completely useless). The game is called off by the ref after 30-odd minutes and the league has to communicate tomorrow wether it gives match won to Rodez (which would make them safe, relegate Annecy but more importantly mean another season in the 2nd tier for Bordeaux which they can't really afford from a financial point of view) or resume the match behind closed doors.

Bordeaux could still go up if they put 6 past Rodez in 60 minutes but I'm sure they get some points deduction. As it stands, Metz are promoted along with Le Havre.

If you think your league is bad then it's nothing compared with what we have to put up with: the LFP (equivalent of the football league) have decided that they will wait until NEXT MONDAY on the fate of the Bordeaux/Rodez match meaning that Metz won't know if they are promoted to Ligue 1 and more importantly (I doubt the league will allow Bordeaux to get promoted after this anyway) that Annecy won't know if they'll play in Ligue 2 or National 1 (the 3rd tier) for another week! Annecy have already tweeted that they will fight their relegation if Rodez gets match won while Rodez are complaining that their player suffered psychological trauma (which you can understand in a way). Long story short, I can see neither agreeing to go down meaning the league have put themselves in an even worse position than this morning.

    They really, really suck.

Gimme the pre-QSI shit league any day of the week. We had proper fans back then at least. French European forays haven't changed all that much under the qataris anyway, it's just that we get knocked in the 1st KO stage instead of the group stage. The other clubs are still shit (except for the odd Marseille final which they automatically lose).

Yes. The league awarded the 3 points to Rodez but we still don't know whether the official score stays at 1-0 (the score when the game was suspended) or 3-0 (the usual score whenever something irregular happens). Furthermore, the league still haven't updated the league table so Rodez have their stay in L2 confirmed despite still being in the relegation zone! An absolute ****ing shambles!

The odd part is that Bordeaux already appealed the decision despite getting off rather lightly I reckon. They were never going to go up after what happened and all punishment they got for 23/24 is a 1-pt deduction! I would think a 10-pt deduction would have been more fitting but that's me.
Even more baffling: no word from Annecy yet whose relegation have just been confirmed. They went from threatening legal action to not doing anything be it on the official website or on Twitter (I don't have Instagram). Surely they're preparing some kind of response...

Take it from me this is far from over. This'll go on and on until the season starts and will be much more entertaining to follow than the tedious Mbappé to Real saga.
