Well the RC manager Derek Adams has said previously the quality in league 2 is better than in the SPL outside the top 2/3 teams !

Big Dunc with a 44.4% win rate at Inverness currently and they beat high flying Raith yesterday.

    Reckon he’ll be sacked soon.

This has gone ahead with SFA approval - mostly. I think the intention would have been to start on a minority share and look to become majority owner in time, as is his publicly stated intention with Lorient. However the SFA have capped it at 30% so presumably this is as far as he'll be allowed to go.

Anyway bottom line is Hibs join our little family of clubs. They've already gained two players from us with more likely on the way.
Bournemouth owner Foley cleared to invest in Hibs

He kept blaming European football for their poor form but they have carried on being pretty average since going out so was always under pressure .

That's the thing with European football whether its in Scotland or England, everyone wants to be involved, but when they are they start moaning about extra midweek fixtures etc. Can't have it both ways.

Exactly and I presume Aberdeen’s ambition is to be a regular team in Europe ?
Definitely so - guess Motherwell weren’t in for him or able to .

Caught a bit of Raith v Airdrie on BBC Alba earlier whilst AFCON was half time & drinks break & looked a decent match & on Saturday same channel is showing Falkirk v The New Saints , bit of a weird one .

It’s the Scottish version of the JPT trophy and Welsh clubs play in it .

He also signed Michee Efete after his contract with us was terminated earlier this week. Are these players really better than what he's already got?

Right , I think I remember a team from Northern Ireland called Crusaders playing in something similar a few years ago .

I wonder if an alternative league with the likes of Celtic , Rangers & others , Cardiff , Swansea , Wrexham & others , Linfield , Glentoran & others along with St Patricks , Cobh Rangers & others would work & be more financially viable than Scottish , Welsh , Northern Ireland & EIRE Leagues currently are with for instance some Scottish Premier League teams only getting 4/5k attendances .

    New Saints beat Falkirk.

    Well done to them .

Another management change at Hibs due ?

    They seem to be struggling.

Meanwhile at Aberdeen a new arrival is due..

Warnock has said in the past he wanted to manage in Scotland.

Warnock set to be named Aberdeen interim manager

Be his first time with VAR too - might have a lot to say!

Form winning 5-0 in the week to potentially be dumped out of the cup by lower league opposition for Motherwell.

Aye , a Cupset , talking of which , good luck to the mighty Bonnyrigg Rose tomorrow , it'd be the most embarrassing game of Warnock's career tenure if Aberdeen were to lose .

Good win for Morton, and not that big an upset really, they've been on a terrific run recently. Don't see Aberdeen slipping up against Bonnyrigg after their embarrassment against Darvel last year.

Asked my pal who supports the Well and she said playing the exact same team that started the 5-0 win saw too many players being knackered for the Morton game.
