Yeah, Ronaldo scores with every shot he takes thats why he’s currently on 16,500 career goals. Ronaldo has just missed from 7 yards
How can that not be either a foul or a Hungary throw in? If he didn't touch the ball then he must have fouled him. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
demonstrably false but nonetheless the shot was in the box Are we actually questioning whether Cristiano ronaldo can finish? I think you’d let him have a pop pal if he has a clear sight on goal given his track record.
The eight players in Europe with 10+ goals from outside box since 2017-18 - Planet Football Can't be bothered to trawl through the stat sites to find the exact amount, but he's not on that list so it's less than 10 since 17/18. Of course he can finish, i was just commenting on the hypocrisy of him screaming furiously at a teammate for shooting in a good position that he himself would never, ever have passed in. I agree. And if the roles were reversed, Ronaldo should also play the pass to the player in the much better position. But he wouldn't...because it's all about him. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
He'll take any direct freekicks as well even though both Fernandes and Silva are better freekick takers. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
It’s not just about home advantage. Wales have 2 games in a country that is not even participating in the competition. Bordeaux was buzzing when we arrived for the Slovakia game at Euro 2016 with France having won their opening game the previous day. We watched the England game in a huge fan zone afterwards and bumped into travelling fans from other nations congregating in Paris. It was a brilliant experience overall. Do you really think ‘hosting’ these games in 21, in normal times, would be no different to hosting Euro 96? I would have thought that would have been special for England fans and great for visiting fans too who could all get around, mingle, have time for sightseeing in a place where there was a real sense of a major event taking place. Crap idea imo that needs to be binned.
The format is stupid, one host is far better. However, there is more than one host and they all have games at home. It’s an advantage but not an unfair one. Can’t have it both ways, can’t bemoan a tournament being all over Europe and then say hosts have an unfair advantage either someone hosts or every game is at a neutral venue.
From that perspective I actually agree with you, it's much better when everyone is in one nation. Part of me does wonder if the decision had something to do with the trouble at the 2016 euros as well with the Russian lot kicking off on everyone. But in terms of it giving advantage to the hosts, you have that in every single tournament, its just another dynamic that everyone has to deal with. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
It's no surprise he was defending Dias there, one time when playing for west brom he jumped up with his foot so high they went right into a Saints defenders face. Thug prick. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
Gonna be controversial and say Ronaldo if anything hampered Portugal in ‘16. Teammates looked scared of him and he tried to do everything himself
