I don't know what it is about my posts that make you think I am trying to sound like Albert Einstein explaining the Theory of Relativity It's two early observations I had I thought were worth sharing. I'm sure I didn't have to be a genius to point them out. I didn't backtrack on anything. Maybe it was obvious enough to be left unsaid. Maybe if we didn't have this conversation it would harm town in some way, especially in a game with a new player in. I just couldn't be arsed to write that out because frankly that could be said about every interaction. Can you point out where I appeared to think of my post as "overly helpful" or "genius" please sir
Why the first 3/4? I agreed with your earlier post saying that the first person calling it was the most believable and consequently Burg looks good to me for mentioning it early on. I think it's easy for anyone after that point though, myself included.
In my experience scum don't usually pile in too early in case of counters, so after the first handful tops it's an prime spot really.
There's an element to that, but mislynches are part of the game. I'm not fond of no lynching as every flip at least gives us something to go on.
Bored of first day, or eager to use your lethal power. No, Mr. Jester. & that is not how you play the role. You have annoy the others first. I rather have no lynches in the beginning than mislynches. Strength in numbers & all that.
I think in that post you're making a point to try and sound more engaged than you are. This is a hyperbolic comparison but it's like me saying: 'Hey guys - I think if we have a tracker and they see someone visiting a player that has died the night before we should consider lynching them!' I don't think you've tried to be like Albert Einstein. You do the same degree I did, of course you're not a genius. I do think it's a point that largely didn't need to be made and therefore a player of your ability making it stood out to me a bit. I think it strikes me as you trying to make a non-D1 sounding point on D1 to seem 'town' and I am a little suspicious of it.
Surely we get more from a town perspective knowing that this is a not-insignificant factor in the game than if people didn't share it? Info is key after all. I don't think we'll catch scum with this knowledge but it's certainly beneficial to avoid potential mislynches, right?
We can't be sure it's insignificant though. There has to be something in play for person who is looking.
Right, so everyone who has claimed to be an alien miller is then a lynch if they are investigated and come back contrary to what they've claimed. I really don't see an anti town effect from this info coming out now
Hello. Been out in Belfast this weekend so only just seeing this thread. I’m town and I investigate as guilty to an Alien role cop. Up the Celts.
@Papa Francesco @Sgt. Serious @Burg random three names....as the newbie here, are we going for Adz then? I know we have a little bit of time left, but if we aren't getting the right discussions right now we may as well try to move things forward.
