Xavi is an unbelievable player. Another beautiful assist. Great finish by Pedro as well.

My statement was made in the first half, Messi was, up to then, shyte, mate. Ronaldo was far away the best player of the two trumpeted best players in the world. I can't stand Ronaldo, :D I wanted Barca to batter them. Having said that, I detest people who pretend they are carpets, won't be watching a full Spanish game ever again.

Neither player played brilliantly but overall Messi won purely because he got the winner, that's all that matters in the end.

All any team really needs is Xavi and Messi, some connection between those two. Barcas title now.

Barca are easily the best team on the planet.Xavi and Messi are just incredible.Im sure Real wish they had those two rather then the overrated Kaka and Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is doing very well but kaka has flopped. The cheque book will be out again in the summer and it'll include compo for a new manager..

Even I didnt know some of this since I only started support Barca at the start of last year :P But Im just get happier everyday finding more about Barca from the media :P I live in Asia and dont know everybody from Spain or anything so its good to read some of these comments :)

Who was Ten Cate? I mean also what was his job at Barca? To this day I dont fully know why Ronaldinho, Eto'o and Deco was sold. All I could gather was that Ronaldinho became lazy, Eto'o has an ego problem and not sure about Deco at all. Because when they played together, they were really awesome, so I dont see how they can not get off off the field but had such great chemistry on the field! Season 2006-07 was a nightmare for Barca, they had won the previous 2 season and perhas got complacent and they lost the title to Real dramatically in the last few games of the season where Real won a few games by late min goals while Barca lost one by a last min goal where the momentum completely changed. Madrid ended up winning by a better head to head record despite Barca level on points and had a goal difference about 20+! The next season they could recover and so the change in manager and players.

Guardiola has been absolutely perfect. I think he played uner Cruyff and really took the phylosophy back to this current side, Im not completely sure of Cruyff's theories, but Guardiola made this side so hard working, confident, expressive, a believe to play their style at all times, even calm after going a goal or 2 down, and managed the players such as big egos like Ibra very well. As well as bringing the best out of youngsters. I think all this things add up and feed off each other, and with class players like Messi and Xavi, the current Barca team can be as good as they are now :)
