Is Pedro one of the most under-rated players in Europe?

He might well be, he's been top class this season. One of the most two footed players I've seen as well, there's little to no difference in terms of finishing between his two feet.

Have to say my respect for Pellegrini has grown so much in the last few months and it is a disgrace imo the way he has been treated by Real Madrid, Jorge Valdano and MARCA (Real Madrid's bullying tool) Basically one of the MARCA editors is on the board at Real Madrid, shows you how much chance Pellegrini has of keeping his job.

98 points is a massive improvement on last season and for the record they will beat Malaga last game of the season imo, 101 goals, so they cant complain of boring football.

78 points last season for Real, 98 this season, it has only been the incredible consistency of Barca that is going to deny them a title, and considering there was a country mile between the two teams last season, its no mean feat what Pellegrini has achieved especially up against one of the best club sides in my lifetime watching football.

The two results that did for him imo was the embarrasment against Alcorcon in the Spanish cup, and the defeat to Lyon in the Champions League last 16. Had Real beaten Lyon they could have been in the Final this season as they would have beaten Bordeaux in the Quarters and then Bayern in the Semis could have gone either way. Even had they lost to Inter in the final, im sure giving him another year would have been at the least considered.

One thing is for sure, he will leave Real Madrid with his reputation intact and there will be a queue of good quality clubs seeking his servces, as his work at Villarreal prior to this season at Real Madrid wont be forgotten either. Sevilla need a new coach, Man City might stay with Mancini but a bad start next season would heap the pressure on him, AC Milan look like they will be getting a new manager as they arent offering Leonardo a new deal, Juve will deffo get a new manager in the summer, Lyon will probably get rid of Claude Puel unless he gets them top 2 in France, we still have the questions about whether Benitez will stay or not at Liverpool. There is a vacancy at Hamburg, the top Russian clubs can sack their managers if something goes the tiniest bit wrong.

If i were one of these clubs and the manager got sacked/left in the summer i would be on the phone sharpish to Pellegrini as his repuatation is still very much intact regardless of the results next weekend.

Justice for Pellegrini is what i say, hope he gets a good job at a club which appreciates him more.

What an absolutely pathetic decision by the referee last night to send off the Bilbao defender.

If anyone didn't see it, A real Player shot from outside the area, and it whacked the Bilbao DEF on the hand as he was jumping to block it. His hand wasn't in the air, It was sticking out a bit from his side, but there was no intent to hit it. The ball wasn't guaranteed to be goalbound either.

The ref gives a penalty AND a red card. Utterly moronic decision.

It really was incredible, but unfortunately that kind of refereeing is par for the course in Spain. :shrug

It was a ludicrous red card, but it's a big club thing in Spain, Barca get them too.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!!!!!!!!!!!! WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS~!!!! AND WE KEEP ON FIGHTING TILL THE END~!!! WAhahahaha~!!!

Real pushed as hard as they coould, but Barca showed how good they are and stayed ahead every time Real caught them, absoultely brilliant. Too bad we got knocked out of the CL semis by a great Inter side. Even Guardiola said in the celebration speech about this and he said the team will try to win the CL again next season, what a great man! :D WOOOOO HOOOOO!

So Real Madrid can fire Pellegrini (a big mistake) and spend millions again in the summer and probably still wont catch Barca next season ahaha!
