Yeovil, Morecambe's time finally up or Port Vale in free fall? What about promotion looking like Lincoln with Bury, Dons or the Stags?
Hoping Scumbridge get relegated. Think County will go, hard to believe they were in the play offs 5 mins ago, sacking Nolan so early in season a big mistake. Think Campbell will keep the Macc Lads up. Hope Lincoln, Mansfield & Fake Dons come up, all near away days, throw in Ipswich, Rotherham & Millwall coming down am already looking forward to another season in Div 1 next year as long as we get rid of Sunderland, Pompey & t'Barnsley.
Macclesfield’s problem is how long will their new manager bounce last? Yeovil have 2 games on them and they are still 4 points behind Morecambe. Think they could still do it though, sadly. Nothing against them but just can’t stand that arrogant nugget Campbell. Still refuse to believe Notts County will go down but I’ve said that about previous clubs in the past - Leyton Orient, Bristol Rovers etc. Stick my neck out and say it’ll be Morecambe and Yeovil to drop.
Lincoln are going up, unfortunately, Hopefully Mansfield will make it this time. Bury not going up would be interesting, how they can afford that squad of theirs i don't know. Too many problems at Notts for them to escape this time.
Think you're right about Lincoln , we're trying to offload Mark O'Hara to them but he's turned them down. I'd like to see N.County survive , I'd like to see them in League 1 as we're unbeaten in last 8 away games I think it is & it's 1 hour on the train. As for fans in League 2 , many could do without the trip to Yeovil. Cambs/Northants derby today , Scumbridge v Wobblers , hope it's a 0-0 bore draw.
Charlie Goode on loan to Northampton and Matt Gilks out to Lincoln from us. Good luck to them both. Hopefully Charlie gets a bit of form back.
1st half of last season he was incredible and way too good for League 2 but then when we got dragged into a relegation battle he suddenly got really inconsistent and looked half arsed and seemed to stop trying. Back end of last season he was either on the bench or not even in the squad and considering how terrible our team was last season it says a lot about his attitude that he still wasn’t getting picked. Not sure how he’s been doing for you but I’d guess he’s great one game and then does nothing the next?
I haven't posted on here for over 4 years but I guess it might liven up in the coming weeks with the current shennanigans at the home of lost Nintendos.
He's consistently inconsistent .! Got loads of talent but has to go round the same player 3 times , has a good shot on him , his major weak points is he never helps out in his defensive duties , is limited to a wide role , Evans played him top of a diamond away at Sunderland & he was lost , replaced at half time. Not sure how much he cost ( every f***ing thing undisclosed ) these days , but with good coaching there's one hell of a player in there.
I'm very much the same - hadn't posted here since June 17. Came on yesterday and stumbled across some old threads I used to read religiously. Hope you hadn't set off on Saturday Alan before our game was called off. I have to say the decision infuriated me personally as I can't make Tuesday evening games due to the wife working.
Do you guys think it would be worth doing some sort of weekly match thread similar to other site? Might encourage other lower league users to sign up.
