Firstly commiserations to Mansfield, their fans were top class and I really hope they go up next season, the minutes applause for Clarke was top class and the way the conducted themselves and their staff was poles apart from our previous opponents.

Great performance and well deserved on the day. Hawkins let his team down but we tore them apart out wide (not sure why Clough set up so narrow on that pitch against Worrall and Benning.

it was very un Vale like to win comfortably we usually make it hard for ourselves.

As for the Swindon comments, Jesus let it go.

Their players were an absolute disgrace, McKirdy referred to us as “pigs” before the first leg, they were pretty much celebrating Wembley after the first leg and comments like Conroy’s and the managers really did the team talk for us. They had no class at all and were cocky.

Our lads loved shoving Boudrys comments down his throat too. Lose with class.

As for the trouble… firstly is that a Forest fan calling us scum? Their fan literally speared an opponent in the head a couple of days before. Glass houses and all that.

A small minority goaded and shoved the Swindon players (let’s note it’s not just a Vale problem based on recent weeks). The majority have rightly condemned it, this argument we haven’t acknowledged it is bull. Carol was seething in her radio interview and Vale have confirmed a police investigation is ongoing? What more can they do until that’s complete? Whoever is found will be banned from Vale Park.

Swindon fans gloss over the fact their fans were lobbing coins, bottles and seats at our fans at the end as well! The scenes at Bradford? Both clubs have a small element that needs eliminating.

Swindon fans have some wild obsession with attendances, all over the socials? Who cares. Our fan base is growing after years of mis ownership and disconnectivity. Who cares that you had 13 more fans away from home on average.

As for DC, it was a load of handbags and the FA investigation felt a fine was sufficient. It wasn’t an assault and if anything Conroy was as involved as he was.

    Fair points all round.

…most of which I concur with.
I wasn’t saying you hadn’t acknowledged it. Just I personally hadnt seen/heard it but also stated it wasn’t something I’d specifically gone looking for.

    Congratulations on your promotion.
Definitely time for all involved to move on.

Glad Vale did it so we don't have to go there next year. And we'll be swapping places in 12 months so that should be the last we see of them for a while.

Well this one caught me off guard as I really couldn't give a damn about Bradford.

Aren't you a bang average team these days? I wouldn't be so confident about your promotion chances myself.

Absolute garbage from start to finish I'm afraid.

No evidence that I've seen shows any assault on a Swindon player. It might exist but it's either not in the public domain yet or I've somehow missed it after drinking in every bit of content from that beautiful evening that I can find. You can't find any either of course, but it doesn't stop you asserting that you are right.

As for the red card bit - I hope you are not alluding to the tragic death of Darrell Clarke's daughter there? That's really low, even for a Swindon fan.

Charlton boss Lee Bowyer escapes touchline ban
    Dundee boss McPake escapes ban
Mourinho escapes FA ban after seeing red at Saints
Sunderland manager Gus Poyet to escape touchline ban after Steve Bruce spat | Daily Mail Online
Bilic fined £8,000 after admitting charge
Carlo Ancelotti avoids touchline ban after red-card rant at referee

Any reason for all of the above managers avoiding a touchline ban after a red card?

Now I've asked you for evidence of your assertions and you've failed to provide it.
I've asked you to give me the FA/EFL law that says a red carded manager is banned from the touchline, you've failed at that too.

You are desperate. You suffered a humiliating defeat despite believing you would win and now you are absolutely clutching at straws.

Finally. As for our fans attacking your fans. This is a complete lie at this point. Running onto the pitch is not attacking your fans. The first set of fans to show any violent intent was Swindon fans. If anything you attacked our fans. I'm not precious enough to care really so I'm prepared to say again that both were as bad as each other. But I absolutely will not have you smearing our fans with your lies, when it was Swindon fans who instigated the bottle throwing. Again, this can be evidenced and I'd be happy to post the links to multiple youtube videos which back this up.

You'd be best of leaving it there though to be honest as I'm not sure you have any leg to stand on until more evidence is published or the police update us on their investigation.

He got fined, there is no touch line ban. He was sent off during the game and fined after it. Apparently that's not good enough for Swindon though and they want him triple punished and will invoke the death of his daughter in their weird head loss campaign.

They were. We had zero backing at your place from the officials. The McKirdy dive is the most pathetic one I've ever seen and it went unpunished. Williams dived several times over the first leg and was awarded freekicks for all but one or two. Worst tackle in the second leg? Williams on Garrity, no freekick nevermind a card. Darrell got sent off when he attempted to get the ball quickly for what was clearly a vale throw wrongly awarded to Swindon. The list is endless.

The lines woman on the paddock side who missed the handball was absolutely dreadful too. The one decision she didn't automatically give to Swindon was the potential handball. One of the pitch side videos from that night show two absolutely shocking decisions by her and the ref in the later stages. Genuinely laugh out loud appalling decisions both going in Swindon's favour.

But that doesn't fit the victim narrative you crave.

Does seem a bit bitter doesn't it - good job you went up!

TBH a touchline ban means nothing these days with all the communication technology around to converse with the bench.

Gone are the days of George Graham having to use a white landline phone at Highbury in the 80s!

Football fans thinking the officials were biased against their team.

    Will never end...

I've never been more in love with this football club.

No I don't give a damn about Vale either, it's just a horrible place to go so I'm glad you're not in the league anymore.

We're ****ing ace and winning the league by 20 points. :)
