 The wave of plastic blue and white flags in the last minute! Pathetic!
Well done Liverpool, did aswell as you could have with Ngog and Kuyt leading the attack, almost.

Whatever, i guess you missed the studs up knee high tackle that Arbeloa did on Essien, but hey i guess in your eyes Liverpool were angels...:whistle

Anyway above aside, fantastic match, and its good to see that Liverpool can still provide a decent performance without Gerrard. Riera on his day (like today and against Man utd) is just immense, i really hope he can become consistent because he could become one of the best players for Liverpool.

The problem tonight was that too many free-kicks were given .. far too many.

If Reina had saved Chelsea's first I sincerely doubt the score would have been the same...

Are you a moron? It was only a studs up high tackle because he needed to bring him down. It wasn't a violent tackle, simply a professional foul albeit not one that denied a straight-forward scoring opportunity. That foul deserves a booking and he got one. When did I say Liverpool were angels? I just said Cashley shouldn't have been booked. *Sigh* You can never win with idiots.

Obviously another user under a different name. Just ignore the child and he'll get banned... sooner or later.

No it would have been 4-3 to you and we'd have won anyway. ;)

    Damn and damn and damn.

A superb performance by the Red Men tonight, just lacking that final leap of a decisive goal. Fair play to Chelsea, they came out after half-time with that 15 minute spell that effectively won them the game. Some good attacking football by both teams (although we gave them too much space - but what to do when you need goals?) and a great spectacle for English football.

Drogba is a disgrace. When he kicked that drop ball into the corner flag I nearly broke the TV.

That Drogba rolling around off the pitch, then somehow manages to get onto the pitch, continues to roll in agony, to force the Ref to stop play. The guy should be hung drawn and quartered, One cheating twat !

I thought taking Masch off was the wrong move. We where controling midfield, if a chance was needed Arbeloa was the man to take off. Thats my opinion.

TBH, i did think Lucas was going off, when pulled Mascha off? i was getting a little nervous, yet again i still think Torres was a little lost without the G force.

Masch going off was a surprise. Was superb in the first half and showed what we missed in the first leg.

For me Yossi should of gone off. Good player as he is he just never convinces me when starting. More an impact player with 25-30 mins left.

At half time I really believed we would get the result to take us through. In all honesty we should of been 3 up, Nando will be kicking himself. We gave away a soft goal, basicis Pepe always cover your near post.

Give Chelsea thier due they got their act together and brought it back to 2-2When we went 4-3 up again I belived it was on.
So it ended up 4-4, well done lads, gave your all and Chelsea suffered a few heart attacks along the way. Now focus all your efforts into winning the league. As we can do it .

Well done to liverpool for making a game of this. Totally expected a 0-0 bore after the first 5 mins, but everything just opened up for liverpool in the first half. Chelsea finally awoke after the first 5 mins of the second half. Great come back from 3-2 down as well. Think both keepers must of been drinking, specially cech.

Never easy for one striker to play against 2 centreback Internationals, my only disapointment about Torres tonight was he didn't bury his first chance to put us in the lead.
