Superb match and fair play to us for making Chelsea worry a bit at half time, I'm very proud of our performance and determination to get through to the semi finals.Drogba was a disgrace, never have I seen a player of his size go down so easily and plead for free kicks etc.

Went and arguably the best match Ive witnessed following the Mighty Kopites.

Played with alot of heart and the first half display was faultless really thought we could of got another because Cech was shit all the first half wasn't to great in the second either.

Second half was just mind blowing thought we had lost the tie then we scored two goals then Lampard finished us off. Was impressed with everyone wearing a red shirt gave it there all throughout and came desperately close to reliving Istanbul again.

Drogba is a cheating twat and a disgrace but the annoying thing is that he's a great striker and doesn't need to do half the stuff he does. PRICK!!!

God the Reds play with your Heart. Once again Liverpool fans were great and nice to see a few Justice for the 96 banners as well.

Played Chelsea, I reckon they could give Barca a run for there money in the semi's.

Okay, first of all the referee(so to speak)had an absolute mare, he didn't give us one single decision after the PK--to be fair, the Chelsea fans I talked to agreed fully. And Didier Drogba is the worst kind of diving, playacting cheat, an absolute DISGRACE to his club, his country, his sport and himself...:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire

That said, it was a gripping piece of entertainment and one of the most exciting, thrill-a-minute, jawdropping football matches I've ever seen. Liverpool threw everything they had at the Blues and Hiddink's men responded to every KO punch with one of their own. The Reds coped superbly without their captain and talisman, and the free kicks by Aurelio and Alex were of the absolute highest quality--is it just me or can every Brazilian do that?!?:eeek

A tremendous match and a stirring tribute to the memory of the 96. And we were so close...:smackhead:cry:
